My Love for you

1649 Words
After the incident at home, it no longer felt safe and Logan didn't hesitate to look for other properties for us to move into. For now, we stayed in this hotel room that reminded me more of our penthouse suite. My husband walked around with only a towel wrapped around his waist while I laid in bed lazy, all I could do was watch him ever since he got out of the shower, I took my time to memorize every inch and curve my eyes could reach from his every move. During this time, I noticed a scar below his chest and it wasn't the kind that looked like it was grazed or some sort you'd get in an accident. It pretty much looked like a gunshot wound, I'd know after watching several action packed movies. It made me think of all sorts of things, one of which would be - he's a gangster or something close to that relation.  I stared at him again and remembered how he was and how he acted, it made me think of how silly I was being, That scar wouldn't have been from a gunshot - it must be something else. It must. I couldn't help but sigh, this was a sign that I was lazing around too much for I was thinking of things that could never happen. My husband isn't that kind of man. "You know just staring at you from here while you move around is already a feast to me." I mused out of the blue making him turn for awhile to smile my way. Turning the stove off he placed the heating pan over a damp towelette on the counter. Making his way to me I thought of how lucky I was to have him in my life, how I was thankful for him being there for me when no one was. "And as for you my love, just waking up to you every single morning is a dream come true." Placing a kiss on my forehead, he trailed down to my nose, cheeks and lastly my lips where he bit my lower lip teasingly. "And you are being a sappy man." I couldn't help but giggle as he wrapped his arms around my waist holding me against him, I hugged him back just wishing it would always be like this. I was busy walking around the streets, window shopping. I was taking a day off but Logan was busy with work and from what I know he is currently in a meeting. So when I received a text from my dear husband I was quite shocked; He asked me out, he was burning out from the meetings scheduled for the whole day, there was just no time for him to rest. Seeing as he wanted to spend time with me despite his busy schedule, it made me smile and look around, walking towards a coffee shop I sat on one of the seats outside. A waiter instantly came to get my order and I did so while I waited, I continued texting Logan. I messaged him a photo of the place, it looked good and reminded me of our little trip to Italy last year. One thing is for sure, Logan enjoyed his Neapolitan cake - it was his weakness. It solved a couple of little arguments we had. The waiter came, placing my Alfredo pasta on the table along with my sweet lemonade and it seemed my dear husband wasn't satisfied with just messaging because a few minutes later he was calling, seeing our goofy picture flashing in the screen, I couldn't help but laugh a little and smile. "Hello! This is Cassandra, I am currently busy. Please leave a message after the be-" I was imitating my voicemail tone when I heard him groan in annoyance making me giggle. "Seriously?" He muttered and I hummed my response, Looking around I smiled at the peaceful day I was having. "Love? You there?" I could hear him calling out to me because I just zoned out for a minute. "Yep, I'm here. So you want to go out today?" I questioned while twirling my fork around the pasta, taking a bite off it making me moan with the heavenly taste I was getting. "Yes, we haven't had a proper date in awhile. I want us to go out like those couples we see on TV." I could hear his pout from just his voice. "Darling, you make it sound as if we're not normal." I mused, taking a sip of my lemonade that just had the right amount of sweetness. "As the teenagers say nowadays: "Normal is sooooo overrated." Seriously?" He started laughing and so did I, now he made it sound as if we were old! "You're starting to sound like an old man." I deadpanned and he laughed loudly. I waited for him to come and it took him awhile since he passed by the hotel to grab my sandals, he said: "I figured you might complain about how your feet hurts later if you keep walking in heels." I felt my heart swell with love that he has even went out his way to do that! So here we were walking around, my arm around his as we looked over at things. I liked this flee market vibe and there are a lot to see that you don't see anymore. "Hey love." He called me out and I hummed, looking at this leather chest that had small ones in it. "I just saw something and I'll be back." He said in a hurry and before I could reply he was gone. Fishy. (Not because I smelt fish sticks a few feet away.) I continued walking around and caught a glimpse of Logan and a woman scantily dressed trailing behind him, discreetly I followed them, My husband towered over her, her back faced me and it looked like they were about to kiss as he was crouching a little closer to her, I couldn't help but break the moment. "What is going on here?" My voice had a cold edge to it and that caused the two to look my way as if caught red handed. Which I did!! "Ah shit.." I heard Logan mutter, the girl looked from me to him and vice versa. She must've sensed the tension between me and him that she slowly backed away and started power walking. "What the hell Logan? Are you cheating on me? Am I not enough? Why?!" My voice rose a few octaves and all he did was stare at me. "Seriously Cassandra? Sure I'll answer your questions. No I am not cheating on you." He glared at me and I did so back at him and I was about to cut him off but he lifted his finger in front of my face. "Don't speak I am not done yet, dear wife of mine." His cold eyes softened and so did my anger, it slowly dissipated with the way he spoke. "I am not cheating on you, yes you are not enough. You're too much for me that there are nights that I think I don't deserve you at all but you still married me." He spoke softly making me place my hand over my heart, biting my lower lip I felt the tears coming out. "Honey I do not know what to do, to make you believe or take that notion out your head that I will cheat on you on any moment." He sighed, cupping my face in between his hands he looked at me with so much love I felt stupid. "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry honey, its just you're so handsome and hot.. And handsome and hot.." I mumbled and looked around, noticing how the others looked our way. Probably because of my tone of voice awhile ago. "Its just, you're handsome, rich and hell the young women these days go for daddy looks and all." I pouted, aimlessly playing with his red silk tie that went along with my sundress, I couldn't help but hide my face in embarrassment. I heard his chuckle, looking up at him he smiled at me. Placing his hand against my cheek, rubbing it softly he shook his head. "Baby, I love you and I will forever be in love with you." He smiled and leaned to kiss me on the lips and before I knew it, he pulled away and I looked at him. "What was the thing you have to go away for?" I asked and he smiled at me showing me that box that I was pretty sure he didn't have earlier. Snapping it open I gasped, there sat a chain full of charms, from the Eiffel tower, leaning tower of Pisa and a whole lot more that reminded me of our trips. "Oh honey.. You didn't!!" I started tearing up and he nodded with a big smile on his face. "This will remind you those trips we made around the world, how much I love you so much that no matter what.. I'll be your support, I'll protect you and most importantly I will always be here for you. In sickness and in health.. 'Til death do us part." He pulled the silver and gold chain out of the box, snapping it around my wrist it fitted perfectly. "I love you forever Cassandra and I won't ever stop proclaiming my love for you." He pulled me against him, pressing his lips against mine while he still mumbled "I love you" over and over. It were moments like this that made me love Logan unconditionally, it made me love him that even if others think that my husband was ruthless and he had no heart, they didn't know this side of Logan Sabella that made me love him so much.
