Did you miss me?

1135 Words
Waking up this fine morning, I felt refreshed, it was a great day to ruin someone. Yes, evil thoughts, not everyday can one always forgive, in this lifetime, they've pushed their luck and found an enemy. Here we were, in the hustle and bustle place of time square. People walked round and about, they mind their own business and there are those who are just plain curious. "Okay! Listen up mortals. I want this to be great for the magazines next issue, now we have a very important client here who is also a great friend of mine... Mrs. Cassandra Sabella."  Darcy introduced me to the photographers, make up artists and of course she had the models lined up. I heard whispers while I went around with Darcy and it was the usual: She's Cassandra Sabella? Holy shit.. We're in the presence of the devils wife. Wow, i'd die to take a few shots of her.. Do you think she'd want to model? She's gorgeous as fück. Etc. "Hi, it's nice to meet you all." I smiled at them and they all nodded in unison, eyes glued to me. "So yes start the shoot and I want to see great photos, yes?" Darcy was strict with work and hell everyone would be afraid of her if she didn't get great results. "Ma'am, Beth hasn't arrived yet." A model groaned in annoyance and of course Beth wasn't here yet, the pompous bïtch acted like Antoinette always fashionably late. "That bîtch is screwing up the whole project!" Another blew up and glared at the chair that was named for Beth. "Well I guess we're just going to start without her." I spoke up and they all looked at me like I was crazy, raising a brow at them they looked at Darcy who just nodded. They all went back to work and improvised without Beth on the project anymore, apparently she was chosen to pose lead and all that. An hour into the shoot Beth came and when she saw we were almost half done, the smug smile on her lips slipped. "What the heck?! Why were you starting without me!!" The frown on her face wasn't looking good, seeing Beth 5 years later was nothing to me anymore, sure she looked good but the flaws were showing. You could see that her regimen or whatever it was, was no longer working. "We started without you since it was agreed that the shoot starts by 10 AM sharp and where were you Ms.Russell?" Darcy spoke up beside me, we were under a tent that the guys assembled. "Look there is a thing called "traffic" Darcy, I was caught up in it." She reasoned out and glared at us, specifically at Darcy who is her boss. "That's Mrs.Langley to you Bethany. Since you are an hour late you are off this project and nothing until further notice." Darcy spoke never looking at Beth and just kept her cool and composed demeanor, hope I could say the same thing for Beth. She was fuming, she was angry. The spotlight was just taken from her and until further notice it won't be coming back. "This is bullshit! We talked about this Darcy!! You're going to hear a lot from me Langley!" She blew up glaring hard at Darcy who turned her head, taking her Gucci Sunglasses off she glared at Beth. "No one is special in my company Ms.Russell, keep that in mind. Now I don't give a fücking rats ass if your Mother is a famous designer and your Father is buddy buddies with the President of the United mother fücking States of America . This, is my company and I.AM.THE.BOSS. Now if you have a problem with going with my rules that you have to be here on time then get the fück out of my face before I decide to fire you and ruin your already ruined career." Darcy fumed, her accent made it more scarier than it already was. The look on Beth's face made me chuckle and watch the models keep their composure even if I knew they wanted to listen in with the match that I was in the middle of. "Like hell you are going to fire me! I am the best model out there! If you let me go my mother will pull out her shares in your company and agency." She smirked and looked smug now, what shares was she talking about? Its a measly amount! "Go ahead, not like my company is going to suffer with the new investor I have. Your mothers shares aren't even that big." Darcy retorted, her attention going back to the shoot that so far was doing great without the drama queen over here. "Its more of your family would suffer, your father is about to get kicked out of the senate this upcoming elections, your mothers business is about to get sold to a buyer you don't even know and now you are about to lose your so called modeling career." I spoke up looking at the male model who was provocatively posing, his eyes connecting to mine. I watched him smirk and that moment the photographer took the shot. "And you are?" She sneered and I raised a brow at her, are women like her really this rude recently? "Oh, i'm sorry I didn't introduce myself. I'm Cassandra Sabella, hello again, Bethy." I shook her hand and I saw her eyes widen in surprise, realization and fear. "Casey?" She asked in a breathless tone, my smile turned to an emotionless expression. "Its Cassandra, Cassandra Sabella." I glared at her and she looked at me with pure horror. "I..I..I need to go.." She pulled her hand from my grip and speed walked away from us, making me smirk in victory, "You are one scary mother fücker." Darcy commented and I just laughed, I was going to be their Karma in the flesh. After the shoot, we called our husbands to pick us up so all four of us can have dinner together since it has been a while since we sat down together and just had a chat. We knew it would also be a good time since Logan would be with Mason and their other friends. While  we wait for them, I had an idea and telling Darcy about it, we both had set the plan. Giving me Bethany's number, I rang it a few times and it was always rejected - so I sent her a text. "Did you miss me? C."  She called me and I, without hesitation answered the phone. "Please leave me alone. I mean it Casey." She ended the call and I was a little shocked but now I felt like a predator wanting to catch its prey.
