Awakening I pull the comforter over my head to block out the bright early morning sunlight. As I’d predicted, I feel like I haven’t gotten any sleep. Moaning, I turn over and slip out of bed, making it to the bathroom from memory more than sight. I ought to learn to close my curtains at night, no matter how much I like looking at the moon in bed. I close the bathroom door and sigh into the darkness. A strange conversation proceeded a stranger dream last night. In the cold light of day, I’m not sure if I want to bring it up with Brian and potentially trigger an argument or dismiss it as a crazy dream that was the product of too much alcohol and a vivid imagination.
