HAZEL’S POV
“Put me down this instant!” I screamed, as I slammed my fists on his rock hard back.
My cries fell on deaf ears, as he kept walking out of the venue. My heart began to race as panic set in. Where was he taking me to? Why was all of this happening to me?
As these questions roamed around in my mind, I caught a glimpse of a metal glint, on his waist. My heart began to pound as a reckless idea struck in my head. In one swift motion, I pulled the knife out of his side, and immediately aimed to his back.
As I swung my hand to strike him, he grabbed my wrist, restricting my movements. I gasped as he pushed me to the wall, pinning me down. His icy orbs gazed into my soul, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.
He snatched the knife from my hand, and scoffed.
“You are a feisty one, aren’t you?”
I glared at him, spitting to his face. Gasps filled the room, and I watched as he used his tongue to wipe the spittle away from his lips. He grabbed my chin, tilting my head up until our eyes met.
“You can’t run away from me princess.”
He threw the knife to the ground, and fear gripped me. My eyes snapped away from him, and began to search the crowd for Lucas. Once I found him, my eyes widened and I began to silently plead for him to save me from this monster.
Lucas looked at me, and apologetic look on his face. My heart sunk in that moment, as I realized help will not be coming. No one would save me.
“Lights out, love,” Killian’s voice echoed through the air.
Before I could register his words, I felt a hard thud at the back of my neck, and I was pulled into darkness.

“No! Let me go!” I yelled as I jumped up.
My eyes sprang open as I blinked a couple of times. I looked around, and the room I lay in, was cold and unfamiliar. It was a small room, void of any furniture. Panic kicked in, as I recalled everything that has happened.
I remembered the way that barbarian marched in, and took me against my own will. How dare he trap me in this inhabitable room? My head began to spin as the weight of the situation pressed down on me.
Was I going to be locked here forever? What was he going to do with me?
As panic kicked in, I began to think of different solution S. I couldn’t stay here. I needed to get out of here. I picked myself up from the cold cement floor and rushed to the door. I placed my hands on the surface, and saw that it was a cold steel door.
My heart dropped. How was I going to break through this?
I didn’t have time to think. I rammed my body into the door, and pain shot up my arm. Ignoring the pain, I rammed myself in the door again. I did over and over again, as streaks of tears poured down, staining my cheeks.
“Please, please, open up, I can’t stay here like this,” I croaked.
I kept banging on the door, until I began to hear chains clicking from outside. I took a few steps back, my heart racing with anticipation as I kept my gaze fixed on the door. The door creaked open loudly, and two, large guards stepped in.
I rushed to them, hitting my fists on their chest.
“Let me out of this room, this instant! I am not supposed to be here!”
The guard shared a looked, and one of them scoffed at me. “We can’t do that, the Alpha’s orders. Now, stay back and stop causing a commotion.”
I glared at him, grabbing his leather suit. “I said, let me out of this filthy place, now!” I yelled.
The guards eyes suddenly grew cold and it made me rethink the things I had just done. He grabbed me by the wrists tightly, and a burning pain began to course through it.
“Do not make me tie you up, behave, or you will not lie what I will do to you,” he growled.
The air thickened with tension, and I was unable to utter another word to him. The other guard grabbed his arm and gave him a stern look while shaking his head.
“Do not hurt her, or do you want Alpha Killian to have your head? You know how brutal he can be.”
The guard clicked his tongue and let go of me. I watched them, as my breath quickened. They walked out of the room, and the door slammed shut loudly, making me jerk back in surprise.
As I heard the locks turn, my heart sunk further into my chest.
I felt utterly defeated, and powerless. I trudged to the corner of the room, and flopped down there. I raised my legs, and hugged myself tight as I began to contemplate my life from here on.
This led to rage filling me, because of how I was being treated. How dare he take me away against my own will?
Time went by, and after an hour, the door clicked open, and the same guard walked in. They pushed a tray of food to me and I looked down at it, anger swirling inside me.
“What am I, some kind of animal now?”
I picked up the tray, and threw it to the other side of the room. The guards looked at each other, before exiting the room.
“That woman is rather feisty, isn’t she?” I heard the guards say the moment they left the room.
“Yes, and I wonder who she is to the alpha.”
“I have been wondering about that too. He seems to like her very much. The Alpha normally doesn’t pay attention to anyone.”
Their voices began to get faint, and I heard their footsteps receding away from the door. Once I observed that they were no longer at the door, I closed my eyes shut.
I needed to summon wolf, that was my only hope of escaping this place.
I kept my eyes shut, as I desperately tried to feel her presence. I waited, for a while minute, and I felt notice.
“Come on, please, I need you,” I croaked.
I concentrated hard, and still nothing. My eyes slid open and I let out a sigh, a tired sigh. What was I going to do now? There was no one who could save me, I was all on my own. I buried my head into my knees and began to sob loudly.
I rose my head up, and wiped my teary cheeks. I couldn’t just give in to what that barbarian wants. I decided to wait till nightfall, and use the darkness as a cover to escape. I
I waited patiently, as time went by, and I occasionally glanced at the small window, to see when the sky would turn pitch black. Hours passed by, and the night time fell. I gazed at the dark sky, feeling a bit hopeful.
The door to then room began to crank open, and this drew my attention from the window. I stared intently, as the guards walked in, with another tray of food. I occasionally glanced at the open door, waiting for an opportunity to bolt passed them.
They slid the food to me, and I glared at them.
“I do not want this filthy garbage,” I hissed.
They both sighed and as they began to walk towards the door, I decided to make a run for it. But before I could get to the door, another man walked in. At the sight of his face, my heart dropped.
Killian.
His cold gaze hit me, and it felt like his eyes were boring a hole into my skin. He walked over to me, looming over me like a large tree.
“What is this I’m hearing? You do not want to eat?”
I scoffed. “And want is it to you? Why do you care if I starve or not?”
I could see him flex his jaws. “You need to eat, Hazel.”
I glared at him. “Do not call my name like you know me, and I will do whatever I want! Do not act like you give a s**t about me!”
“But I do,” He said, in a rather soft voice.
I scoffed, awe plastered on my face. “You care about me, but you hit me, and you put me in this room that is not even fit for an animal to say in. Please, save your hypocrisy for someone who would actually buy it.”
Kilian sighed and ran a hand through his hair. “I do not have time for your tantrums and whining. Eat your food.”
Anger flared up in me, and I picked the tray of food, throwing it at him. The remnants fell to the door, and Killian glared at me.
“If you do not eat these grains of food that you have put on the floor, you will not have food served to you again.”
With that, he marched out of the room. Rage filled me and I picked up the tray, throwing it to the door as I screamed. In that moment, I made up my mind.
I would escape at the dead of night.
