“Alpha, are you sure this a good idea?” Orion asked.
My eyes, which were fixed outside the window, slowly turned to him. “What are you talking about?”
Orion looked a bit hesitant, but he spoke up regardless. “I am referring to Hazel and the auction. Don’t you think selling her to all those perverted men is too much?”
“And why does it matter to you?” I asked.
Orion shrugged. “It just seemed best inhumane to something like this.”
