“What are we doing here?” she asked in surprise. “Is someone coming to get us?” Korum shook his head and smiled. “No, we’re going by ourselves.” “How?” asked Mia, burning with curiosity. “You’ll see in a second. Don’t be afraid, okay?” He squeezed her palm reassuringly. Mia nodded, and Korum let go of her hand, taking a step forward.
