From that moment forward, regardless of what he was wearing, Jimmy Boy always wore his special belt. Before long, it had become so much of a routine, he would forget about the special nature of the belt. There were a couple of occasions where he was attending sporting events with friends from Boston, and he had forgotten the nature of the belt. Once at Yankee Stadium and another time at Madison Square Garden, Jimmy Boy was just about to be screened at the metal detector when he suddenly remembered about the belt he was wearing. On both occasions he was able to leave the metal detector line and discreetly seek out an NYPD cop to identify himself and the contents of his belt.
