Coney Island

Weekend/date day: "What's wrong with my outfit Austin?" I throw my hands in the air annoyed by his judgment. I was wearing checkered they weren't sweatpants but they were baggy and then tight at the bottom. With an Argentina soccer team jersey. So what. My style was different. I liked it.   "Us, why do you hunk you can be weird?" He asks I gasp dramatically.   "You're one of my best friends. You're supposed to support my crazy decisions" I state.   "This is one of your bad ones because you're going on a date kind of," he tells me. "Right Stella?"   "I don't want to get into this" Stella says doing her makeup. I had some light makeup on.   "I'm wearing what I want Austin. It's my body, and if Dylan can't handle it he can f**k off" I say.   "Fine whatever" he waves me off. "You're so extra."   "I am. And I fully admit it" I stick my tongue out to him he rolls his eyes sitting on my bed.   "Who's driving us?" Stella changes the topic.   "Sam" I reply.   "But what about Dylan and all?" She asks.   "He's going with his friends."   "Do you not want to go with him?" She asks more questions.   "You think that I got scared of someone honking on the street one time that I would go in a car with him who I've been on 1 date with?" I asked.   "Right" she nods.   "It's also a 48-minute drive" I state.   "Right again" she nods.   "Hey, guys" Sam walks into my room.   "Hey" we respond.   "Sam tell me, does Jo look like a crazy-ass b***h?" Austin asks I roll my eyes. Sam's eyes avert to me.   "No why?" He shrugs.   "She's wearing checkered pants for starters" he starts. "And a soccer jersey."   "So what" he shrugs again. "Have you seen what people wear nowadays?" He says sitting down on the bed too. We were now all waiting for Stella so finish her makeup. She was dressed in a skater dress.   "See Exactly Austin. Don't be a dumbass" I say.   "Whatever. You guys are the same, so you're both weird" Austin shakes his head.   "f**k. Off." I tell him.   "Would love to" he smirks at me. "Hurry up Stella, it's not like you're actually on the date he just likes you" Austin groans.   "Shut up" She waves him off. "I'm almost done."   "Your makeup isn't even like huge glam yet you took an hour on it" I said.   "Whatever ass. Stop judging me" she gets up off the floor from my mirror. "We're good."   "Has Dylan left yet?" They ask me.   "He said he was leaving at 2:30," I tell them. It was almost 2:30.   "Great so we can go now too" Sam stands up. I ran my bag making sure I have my money and then I slip on my black default vans, and then we all went out to Sam's car.   "Can we stop at the gas station, so I can get myself a drink and some chips?" I asked. "b***h you'll be eating all of Coney Island," Austin says.   "Hop off my d**k Austin," I said as Sam started to drive. I was upfront.   "We also need to pick up Caleb and Kyle so yeah we can stop," Sam says.   "Thanks!" I grin. I was up front right now. Obviously.   "How many of his friends is he bringing? Are you bringing too many?" Stella asks.   "No, he's bringing Parker obviously, Justin, Nate, Ryan, Taylor, and I'm pretty sure someone else" I shrug. "Oh, this is a giant group," Austin says I nod. "Yeah" I nod. "Kyle better not be a bummer" Austin mutters. "Cause I will hurt him." "b***h you're weaker than a rat," I said and Sam and Stella laugh. "Shut the f**k up" he chuckles out. We first stop to get Caleb and Kyle. "Wassup fuckers!" Caleb squished in. "Whose lap can I sit on?" He asks. "No ones, Kyle can sit in yours" Austin mutters Stella nods in agreement. "Fine" he huffs. "Jo?" "If you're fine with being crouched up here. Sure" I reply he grins. "You're always gonna be the best," he says. "I know" I nod. We get Kyle and they all somehow manage to fit in there. It was a Jeep. So there was like a small space back there. "Why don't one of you go to the very back. Just lay there or Caleb and Kyle can go together and make out!" I suggest. "f**k off," Kyle says. He stands up omg he back while Sam drives and falls over to the back I laugh. We stop at the gas station. "Does anybody want anything?" I asked. I turn to look at them all. They all say a drink they want. I sigh. "I'll come in, I need to piss anyway," Sam says we get out of the car. "They're messes." "Completely" I nod. We walk in. "I'm just gonna be in the washroom. I'll be right out" he tells me I nod and go into the aisles while he goes to the washroom. He comes back only like less than 5 minutes after. We grab the drinks and s**t and go and blah for it. "Nice pants Jo!" Caleb says once we get back into the car. "Thank you, Caleb" I mutter. "I don't like your judgment." "I'm being honest. They look good on you" he says. "Mm-kay." "Her pants are so...weird. No need to lie Caleb" Austin says. "f**k off Austin" I flip him off. "No thanks," he mutters. I open a bag of chips and start eating them. I also hand out the drinks to everyone and Sam starts to drive again. I grab the aux cord and play my lit ass music. I bite into a chip looking through my music and play one called love again by slander. It was older but it was summery and great. It was a great day actually. The weather perfect. And I had all my friends coming with me. So thank god it will not be awkward. "Is this considered a date even?" Sam asks. "Honestly. I have no clue" I admit. "Probably not, there's a lot of people coming so..." "Yeah. It's just weird considering this is your guys' second time hanging out he decided a group thing?" He says. "Well, I honestly don't mind" I shrug. "It's less awkward." "Awkward is a state of mind Jo" Austin butts in. "f*****g off is one too" I turn to look at him shoving a chip in my mouth. "Give me" he puts his hand out I face the bag to him he grabs some. "Thanks." "No problem," I said. Our relationship is literally sick sometimes. Hahaha. "So does anyone know the price for this?" Caleb asks. "Cause I kinda took my dad's card and he told me not to spend that much." "Well, we'll see" I shrug. "Yeah, next time make sure i***t" Austin rolls his eyes I laugh. "Exactly" I nod. "Whatever" he shrugs. "You sound like a pretentious b***h" Sam says I laugh again. "Yeah. That's so true!" I nod. "Shut the f**k up both of you," he says. "No thanks," we said in unison. "You are the same person" Stella states. "We're Cool so whatever" I mutter. "Better than your asses." "So not true" Austin shakes his head. "Mmhmm, that's so...wrong" Sam shakes his head. "Now shut up, cause we pretty much missed all this song" I turn up the music. "No one cares about you and your electronic music Jo!" Austin declares. "No one cares about your opinion Austin," I remark back. ~ Coney Island looked amazing in the pictures and all. But in real life. Dude. It was amazing. I felt like a little kid going to a carnival. Literally.   "Wow" is all I said.   "Where's your boyfriend?" Caleb comes up next to me.   "Not boyfriend" I state, he shrugs. "And I don't know I'll text him" I manage to her my eyes off the whole "island"   "We're right here," said Dylan's voice from behind. We all turn and his group of friends and him walk over here.   "Hey," I said. M I turn to Stella who was on her phone. I grab it from her. "You aren't going on that for the rest of the night," I tell her putting it in my pocket.   "Uh- Fine" she sighs.   "Ready to go?" Dylan grins.   "Yeah Guys Let's go," I said. I turn around my back facing him. We all go up and pay for our tickets and get in.   "Bitch..." I hit Austin.   "I know!" He laughs.   "Cotton candy!!" Me, Austin and Stella all say. It was kinda our thing.   "You want some?" Dylan laughs.   "Well, I mean... it's cotton candy" I said he smiles.   "I'll get you some" he puts his arm around me. "And please don't suggest paying yourself," he tells me.   "Alright," I laugh. **   "Ok Ferris wheel is totally cliche but I think you should do it" Austin pulls me to the side I scoff loud.   "No way," I said. We've been at Coney Island for an hour and a half now. It was amazing.   "b***h come on!!" He groans.   "I wanna go on it but it's way too cliche can't we go together?" I asked.   "No" he scoffs. "Just do it. It's cute."   "It's literally so sappy and gross" I cross my arms.   "We get that you're different and all" He eyes my outfit. I push him.   "f**k off, I'll do what I want," I said walking away. "Hey Sam, Austin's bothering me."   "When doesn't He?" He laughs a bit taking a sip from his drink.   "True."   "Hey!" A voice startles me and I jump Sam and Dylan of course both laugh.   "What the f**k! That wasn't even funny!" I said pushing him he laughs more. "And you're an ass for laughing" I point at Sam.   "You should've seen yourself" he laughs with a shrug.   "Suck me off both of you," I said they both laugh again. "Let's go on a ride." "Which one?" Dylan asks. "Something fun" I shrug. "Wow thanks," he says sarcastically but he has a smile on his face he puts his arm around me. "How about that one." He points to that seemed fun. "Yeah Let's go!" I chirp dragging him along he chuckles. ~ The rest of the day was fun we stayed there for a long time and then we got McDonald's all of us and hung out a little more then went our way home. Dylan drove me home by himself. "Did you have fun?" He asks. "Yeah for sure" I nod. "A lot of fun. You?" "Yeah, it was really fun. I felt like a kid again" he chuckles. He pulls up to my house. "I'll see you later?" He asks I nod. "Yeah obviously" I laugh. "Right" he chuckles. "Thanks," I said. "You don't need to say thanks" he smiles. "Yeah okay whatever" I wave him off he chuckles. "Well I'm gonna go in" I look at him and before I knew it he was kissing me. I kiss back. His hand cups my cheek. He was a pretty great kisser. We pulled away moments after. "Anyways Bye" he grins. "Bye," I said and got out of his car and up to my door. I unlocked and my dad was sitting on the couch. He looks over. "Oh hey! How was it?" He asks. "Fun!" I smile. "I'm gonna go take a shower, and we can talk later." "Yeah okay" he nods and I go upstairs. I smile. Today was a good day I'm not even gonna lie.
