Chapter 3: The party

After I was done helping my mamaw. It was 4:25 so I headed to papaws office again to meet my mom and brother and everyone else. I got there earlier then everyone so I sit outside the office playing games on my Iphone 10. I know I look emo but I ain't I just like the look is all that is but I think everyone knows why I dress like this now. I look up in time to see my ex-boyfriend Xander coming my way. I don't want to talk to him.
"I see the Princess of the wolves is here" Xander said
"I see the bad boy who got his heart broke by the Princess is still here" I said
"You ain't changed a bit Cora" Xander said
"What do you want Xander I have places to be and people to see" I said
"I just wanted to say if you need someone to talk to I am here" Xander said
"I know but I told my mother about it" I said
"Thats good well I gtg ill ttyl" Xander said
Xander walked away and my mother opened the door for me to come in to the office. Everyone was here and my little brother was crying I know what happen.
"Cora I have a question for you" My mother asked
"Shoot" I said
"When was you going to tell me that your werewolf mate rejected you" My mother asked
"Lucas I am not mad but did you tell them" I ask my little brother.
"Yes" Lucas said I went and hugged him and told him its was ok that I wasn't mad at him or anything like that.
"I was going to tell you when I was 15 because he was 20 when he rejected me but if you really want to know what happen I will tell you" I said
"Yes I want to know" My mother said
"Ok It was last years mating ball I was and still am only 13 mother but he was 20 and I don't know how old he is now but he rejected me and I accepted but I did feel him mate and mark someone else so I dated Xander even thought me and him dated for a year and half then I broke up with him" I said
"Have you done anything with a guy" My Aunt asked
"Yes Auntie I have f****d a guy if that's what your asking but it was because I was dragged with something and no I don't know who done it or anything like that all I know is that my father had something to do with it but it was around last years mating ball when I met my mate" I said
"Sissy you didn't tell me that" Lucas said
"Because I was trying to find the person to kill them then I was going to tell everyone" I said
"Well now I know why you wear all black and hang out with the bad boys here" My aunt said and I just started laughing.
"Can we get this party over with" I asked
"Ya lets go oh and the crown will be handed to you tonight" My papaw said
"Ok" I said
"Oh can you sing us a song" My mamaw asked
"Yes" I said
After that we all walked out side and my Mamaw and papaw started the meeting that was happening before the party.
"I would like to tell everyone we are handing down our crowns today but its to our Granddaughter not our daughter Cora come up here so we can start this" My papaw said
"Do you Cora Rose Yearwood take this crown" My papaw said
"Yes I do" I said
"Do you Cora Rose Yearwood swear to always uphold our laws" My papaw said
"Yes I do" I said
"Do you Cora Rose Yearwood swear to always protect the people until your last breath" My papaw said
"Yes I do" I said
"I am proud to present you all your new Queen Cora Rose Yearwood" My papaw said
"ALL HAIL THE QUEEN" Everyone said
Papaw looked at me and smiled.
"Now let our new Queen sing us all a song" My Mamaw said my mother just smiled at me.
"I am going to sing Queens don't by Raelynn" I said then started singing.
I wasn't raised in a castle
I grew up on the outskirts of town
No dresses with golden tassels
The rings on my hand are handed down
But I'm gonna find the one that needs me, sees me

"Lets start the party" I said
I did sing 5 more songs then got of stage. I talk to every one then I used my vampire speed and went to my spot. I already know my papaw and mamaw stop my mother from following me.
"You know the Queen shouldn't miss her own party" Xander said he always followed me here.
"And you know the bad boy should be at the party picking up another hoe to f**k tonight right" I said
"You right but maybe the girl he want's ain't at the party" Xander said
"That sounds like a personal problem because I know two or 3 girls that ain't there" I said
"You ain't changed Cora you never could see what was right in front of you" Xander said
"Last I checked it wasn't in front of me it was behind me" I said
Before I could turn around Xander was in front of me,
"Well its in front of you now" Xander said
"We have already had this chat Xander you will find your beloved next month I am not her" I said
"But I want you Cora I don't want a beloved" Xander said
"Fine we can date till you find your beloved but I will not come between you and your mate Xander I can't do that besides I will be here for a year if everything works out" I said
"Then that means I get a year with you Cora I have had a big crush on you since I seen you the summer you was 1 and I was 2" Xander said
"Your mate by be better then me you know everything I have been thought I am a broken mate you don't need that in your life Xander" I said and was about to walk back to the party when Xander grab my arm and bring his lips to my lips. Xander kissed me passionately and for the first time in my life I wished this moment didn't have to end but I knew better then that. My mother mind linked me.
"WE ARE UNDER ATTACK" My mother said in our mind link.
"I am on my way" I said back in our mind link
"Go to a safe place now we are under attack" I said to Xander and was getting ready to leave when he stopped me.
"Come back to me safely please" Xander said
"I will" I said and ran to the battle.
When I got there I was up in the trees I seen everything from here and a very powerful growl left me. Once I knew Xander was in a safe place I jumped. When I did that the attackers growled but I just laughed at them they started attacking me but before they could get to me they would fell dead.
"SHIFT NOW" I used my queen commend.
Once the leader was fully shifted I just laughed harder.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT" I asked
"You" The Leader said
I laughed in his face.
"I would ask who sent you but I already know who that is so tell Hades I will see him soon" I said still laughing and killed him along with all the others that attacked us and walked away from the battle field.
"Can someone clean this up" I said then walked to the castle where Xander jumped on me to make sure I wasn't hurt.
"Now I see what you mean father" My mother said
Xander then kissed me once he knew I wasn't hurt.
"Ya he has it bad for our Queen" My Papaw said
"Xander, Cora lets go" My mother said I looked at her with the help me look. My mother just laughed at me and walked to my office.
Once everyone was in the office and Xander was in my chair with me on his lap and my little brother was beside me. We started the meeting. With my family trying not to laugh at me and me pissed off.
"Lets start this so I can go to bed" I said
"How do you know who sent them" My mamaw said while laughing at me.
"It was my father" I said and growled
"How do you know this sweetheart" My aunt said while laughing at me.
"Because I read the dudes mind and can everyone stop laughing its not funny" I growled out
"Sweetheart its funny because it looks like you are going to kill someone" My mother said
The Moon Goddess and Hades come at this time along with Galaxy, Blaze, and Strom showing themselves.
"Now that everyone is here ....... Cora why do you look like you are going to kill someone" Galaxy said while laughing.
"I didn't believe mom but your right Galaxy" Blaze said while laughing.
"Ya'll right" Strom said while laughing.
"Ya'll don't stop laughing and I will make it to where yall can't get back in my mind" I said and they stop laughing.
"While someone is in a pissy mood" Hades said
"How the f**k am I supposed to be I just fuckin find out that my father sent a pack of f*****g dumbass to fuckin either kill me or make me there s*x slave so please tell me what the f**k should I look like" I said making everyone stop laughing.
"Yup she is pissed" The Moon Goddess said
"Sissy why was they just after you and not me and you" Lucas said
"Because if I am out of the Picture you can take my crown" I said
"Oh" Lucas said
"This meeting is over with we all will meet in the morning I am going to bed I used to much magic" I said
"Take care of my daughter Xander" My mother said
"I will Your majesty" Xander said
My mother just laughed as I was being carried out the door. Once we was in my room I got up to take a shower and get in my pjs.
"Where are you going my Queen" Xander said
"To take a shower and get my pjs on" I said
"Let me join you your Majesty" Xander said
"I guess but no s*x I want sleep" I said
"Yes My Queen" Xander said
Xander give me my shower and dressed me in my pjs then put his boxers on and cuddled up to me. I let darkness take over.
Scarlett Pov. (Cora's mother)
"Take care of my daughter Xander" I said
"I will your Majesty" Xander said
Once they where gone I asked the Moon Goddess.
"Is Xander my Daughters mate or is he just madly in love with her for no reason" I asked
"They are true mates but they both have to turn 17 to find this out so they will meet there other mates first" The Moon Goddess said
"So Xander will met his 2nd change mate first" I ask
"Yes Xander will fell in love with her but she will die in an attack a month before Cora is to come back and Cora will fell in love with someone else but they will die 3 months before she is to come back here in an attack" The Moon Goddess said
"Why" I ask
"I had to do it this way because they don't believe in love and I need them both to believe in love so they can be the most powerful beings in this realm they are meant for better things" The Moon Goddess said
"We have to go but tomorrow she will come in to her powers and I will give her a Demon she will be the Queen of the demon's in this realm but we will be here tomorrow" Hades said
We all said our goodbyes and went to sleep.
