"So let me get this straight-" Alpha Lucas' tone was one of complete exasperation. "Despite not finding your Luna, you want me to stand down the search party and the warriors I put together barely an hour ago, when you woke me up and dragged me away from my mate?" He didn't sound pissed, he was just incredulous.
"With the exception of one," I clarified.
"And that one, is not Erin, who has been champing at the bit to get out and look for her new friend?"
"Correct." I said
"And you expect me to tell her?"
I winced. I didn't think that would go down particularly well. "Yes Alpha. As I explained, I'm pretty sure I have a traitor in my pack. I need to find out where he is hiding Amelia before I accuse him of anything."
