Peyton's Point of View I paced up and down the hallway outside of Amelia's room. I kept moving for two reasons. Firstly, because my stress levels were at an all-time high. I was really worried about Amelia and what would happen if I forced her to shift into her wolf too soon. It went against every fiber in my being to cause her any unhappiness, but there really wasn't any way around it. She could not stay as she was forever. Remaining in her human form would kill Vae. I hadn't got as far as telling her that yet, because I didn't want to cause her any further upset. I rubbed my chest as my heart ached for her.
