Vae's Point of View
The vampire took the chain off from around Trudy's neck.
"Wakey wakey", she called in a saccharine voice before back handing Trudy across the face.
"Nice", I complimented her as another tooth fell from Trudy's mouth, and she whimpered in pain.
"I'll probably be in trouble later for striking her, but it was so worth it." She smiled gleefully. I got the feeling that it wouldn't be the first time she was in trouble, and that she probably enjoyed it more than she ought to.
"s**t happens." I said, shrugging.
Trudy's eyes started to flicker open. It took her a few moments to focus, but the moment her brain processed what her eyes were seeing, she shrieked and started to cower away from us.
