Kendy was standing in front of the window, staring out over the gardens. She was supposed to be taking in the scene of the setting sun over the ocean and the way it filled the gorgeous courtyard with all colors of the rainbow. Instead though, her thoughts were clashing, conflicting, scrambled images and words.
