CHAPTER 7: ADVICE

Alex's POV

I get to my house and jump on my bed and start recalling what had just happened. I cannot believe I was that close to Felix. I wanted to wrap my arms around him and kiss him but I couldn’t. I have never done that before. I did not have the courage to do that, I was also afraid to lose my job because I did not know if he was into me the way I was him or maybe he was jusy toying with me to know my behavior.

I just had the need to be with him so bad, I was a person who did not want to engage in any s****l activity till marriage but with Felix, I was ready to lose my virginity even now if it was possible.

My thoughts were interrupted by my friends Magdalene’s call, she has been my friend for almost five years now and I tell her everything and I was so glad she called today.

“Hey sweetheart, you have been so quite lately no call, no text or have you found another sweetheart there and replaced me already ” she asks happily, I had only told her that I would look for a job, but since I got it I hadn't called to inform her . My few days have been so enventful.

“You know I can never replace you my darling, I only have eyes for you,” I said jokingly. I talk with her for almost thirty minutes, I tell her everything about Felix, Viggy , Patrick and the other workers . She seems so Intrigued by the story of Patrick. Magdalene has always liked older men claiming that they know how to care for women. And that their s*x game is better because they know exactly where to touch and when to touch. So she advices me to go for it, I’m not like her, she is always easy going and always open to new ideas sometimes I’m envious of her. She can even confess her feelings to a guy. I don't think I can ever be that brave.

She tells me about her new catch guy, a doctor, She says he is in love with her but she doesn't like him that much so she will have to dump him. She is so hilarious, that's my friend. She has a good side and a pretty big heart that's why I love her. We finish our conversation and say good night to one another.

I decide to go for a quick shower before the guy Felix will send for my dinner comes. I finish my shower and decide to put on my favorite show ‘Friends' a comedy show so I can put off some steam and it works.

After some minutes I hear a knock at the door and it's Patrick the chef.

“Hey Patrick welcome in please,” I say to him as he hands me dinner, its wrapped in a blue paper bag.

“Thanks, Patrick Welcome in " I say politely. “ Care for anything, I have juice and water" I add

“ I have water please, im so tired it will help"

“ one cup of water coming right up" I say joking.

I bring the water and I see that he is watching the show too.

“ ever watched it " I ask

“ Yes Alex like 5 times now and I always laugh as hard as I did the first time" he says sincerely.

“ woow me too"

We decide to watch a whole season together, since it's episodes are not that long and neither of us is sleepy. I bring two plates and spoon so we eat whatever he brought together . I open the bag and it's my favorite, beef Pilau with salad, I love it I wonder how he knew what I liked. I can't help it but I have to ask.

“ Patrick " he is so caught up in the show that I have to shake him. “ Patrick"

“ Sorry Alex, were you saying something" he answers smiling.

“ How did you know my favorite dish"

“ The first day you came, that was the food you asked me to give you, so I figured it was your favorite"

“ wow so thoughtful, lets eat now" We eat all the food. I feel so full right now that I begin to feel dizzy, I think he notices that.

“ Alex I have to go now, I see you are getting sleepy" he says in a really low tone. “ let me get going now , before I go , I just want to tell you to be careful with Felix he is not a good person especially around ladies,” he says with a look of concern in his eyes.

“ Don't get me wrong Alex, I am just looking out for you, I don't want you to get hurt"

Patrick is a medium height guy, very cute, but he cannot surpass Felix, he is a very good cook and has the friendliest nature, he is easy to be with. He seems about 21 years of age but he looks so young for me. That is hilarious considering I’m only nineteen years almost twenty. I think my friend Magdalene has affected me with her beliefs about elder men.

“Thanks Patrick for dinner and for the advice as well I appreciate, I will take note on that” I say and he leaves.

I do not care what Patrick has to say about Felix. I just want him and no bad words against him can stop me from wanting him. Patrick is just my co worker he has no right to avade my privacy. I do not even care that he may be married or not. I know married men are a no go zone , but with him I surrender. I think I am falling in love with him. What if he does not want me because I look young.

I go to bed wondering what I will do if at any point Felix rejects me.
