I feel so warm and safe in a comfortable embrace. I smile as I feel light tingles all over my skin. I breathe deeply, before I frown and open my eyes and see that I am lying in Alex’s arms, in his bed. s**t! s**t! s**t! I had s*x with Alex last night! “He is our mate after all.” Gaia pipes up in my mind.
“Oh Goddess, Alex is our mate. f**k!” I reply in my mind. “Are you not happy that he is our mate? Don’t you like him? He is perfect for us, Bella. And after last night, I know he can cater to all our needs,” Gaia says, growling playfully. “It’s not that I don’t like him, I actually really do. But you have access to my memories now. Can you understand why I have to focus on getting my life back on track?”
