Chapter Two. Avery's POV. "Who the hell are you and where are you taking me to?" I was bold in my speech, but my weakness was the greatest. The taxi driver drove faster when he realized that I knew what was going on. "I asked you a question!" I exclaimed, but by shouting and panic was giving him more strength to drive faster than he was driving. I was scared. We drifted a lot of times and the roads we passed did not have any security police. I dropped my bag and I started struggling with him and the wheel. A lot of thoughts roamed my head, but I was questioned by the how and why the taxi driver was taking me down the street that I knew wasn't the street to my apartment. "You have to answer me. You can't be doing this to me. Tell me!" "Can't you hear me?" I screamed. It didn't work, it didn't help. I looked around and I realized the taxi driver took me back to the street I left. The same Street I left Natasha in. My heart was pounding. "Why did you have to do this to me," I cried. The car stopped and the doors of the taxi were opened. When I stepped out, the taxi drivers went away immediately. I turned and I saw Natasha with her friends. It was getting dark already, and it was one of my unlucky days because no one roamed the street at that time. To be more precise, it was the point of the wolverines where they race and fight when it's full moon. "You thought you could run away from me. You think you are wise enough to do what you did," She added. This was not the first time I was bullied by her, and as long as I was breathing and moving on the Tribe, it was not going to be my last. "I feel special to know that you always look for me. You need my greetings and you always love to be recognized by me," I added. I wanted to speak for myself. I had to make this fight different. "Really?" She threw the garbage she held on my beautiful dress. The remnants of coffee spilled on my dress. I wanted to move towards her to give her a piece of my cake, but I was pushed by her friends who seemed to act like security guards whenever I tried fighting for myself. "You are not what you think you are, stop trying to feel included," Natasha blasted. I woke up to realize I blacked out. I was covered in garbage and paint. I could see Tatu, she was coming towards me. When she saw I opened my eyes, she increased her pace of walking. "I'm sorry." "Why are you sorry? I'm very sure you are not really comfortable with me coming around you, and your place. Why don't you try to help, but you decide to watch me being bullied?" I pushed her hand away. At that point, I was getting a lot of dark vibes from within. I endured a lot with her and with the fact that my life was really rough, but I could not open my eyes to the fact that her calling me her friend was a beautiful mirage. She was basking in pretense. "Av…Avery…" She stammered. "You are so crazy for wanting to fight for her. You will be getting yours in double portions if you did," Natasha added. "She even made extra efforts to look good today," Alna added and everyone laughed at me. "You should know byoi are not part of us. You are not supposed to be and you will never be. You are cause and that is all you should know," "You are rude and way too harsh for me," I said slowly "No one is for you and with you," Alna responded bitterly. "Great, and Tatu?" I said, raising my brows. "She won't even dare go against us," they replied. "Wow, Tatu, you didn't tell me you had a lot of mouthpieces. "' I tried to act savage with Tatu. I was just waiting for the right moment to leave. I tried making friends, and I endured being bullied, but I realized that was not going to do anything for me anytime soon. My blonde hair that was carefully styled by me turned into ruins. I was feeling perhaps useless. To think it was because I was wolf less made me stunned and wonder why. The past years after I met Tatu, I reminded her it was my birthday, but today I didn't. The signs were there, but she was blind to them. I dressed so well to leave her apartment because it was my nineteenth birthday. I was shocked to realize that was the most horrible day of my entire life. It was seconded to day that I was being tagged the cursed girl with evil parents who were dead. I wasn't expecting any miracles. I looked scattered and unkempt. I tried getting a taxi and no empty ones stopped by. After moments of getting soaked in a smelly dump, I was fed up. They continued calling me names and throwing random stuff at me. A car stopped opposite the road. When the doors were opened three good looking men came out. Well, I was hoping for nothing, but when I saw them crossing over to the path where I was being bullied, I knew something was going to happen. The only problem was that I didn't know if it was bad or good. I was breathing in oxygen and shame. I was wearing embarrassment and my name was Avery Banks.
