Jack and I were sitting next to each other on the couch in Elder Cherish's office. He had tears in eyes, knowing that in just a few hours, he would be back in the arms of the hunters.
I pulled him into my arms, feeling my eyes getting watery again. He started sobbing into my shoulder and I rubbed his back. Elder Cherish, Father, Dad, Oliver, Isaac, Cody, Melissa, and Alex were all standing in the office, watching us.
"I don't want to go." Jack whispered.
I pulled away from the hug and took his hand in mine. "We're going to get you back. I promise."
Jack nodded and looked back at me. Elder Cherish cleared his throat. "Okay, so here's how this works. I'm going to connect you two and when I do, you can't touch at all."
