Chapter Nine - Kane.

I teleported myself to the edge of the Vampire Kingdom and waited.

They would know I am here and would send out guards to allow me entry, it was forbidden for anyone to just teleport inside and would result in death for anyone that tried.

The Vampire Kingdom was built high up in the mountains where it was bitterly cold and full of snow, there wasn't for a lot of sunlight for obvious reasons they preferred this.

After a few minutes of waiting two guards approached wearing all black, their pale faces blending in with the snowy surroundings, they moved fast and blurred across the ground, stopping in front of me.

"What business do you have here Warlock" the taller of the two hissed at me.

"I request a meeting with your King, my reasons are none of your business" I replied coldly. I was not afraid of these two Vamps, I was powerful enough to be able to destroy them both if I wanted to.

Glaring at me they motioned for me to follow them.

Entering the big black gates of the Kingdom, I could see little houses dotted about where the Vampires of the village lived, we carried on up the lane that would take us to the main castle entrance.

The big wooden doors creaked open and I was taken up the wide staircase to another set of double doors, the guard opened the doors and ushered me through.

The room I was in was lit by candles, it was a lounge area with sofas, little tables and a big fireplace that heated the room.

Seated in front of the fireplace was the Vampire King Matteus and a beautiful blonde young woman who was staring at me like she wanted to eat me, she was wearing a short black dress that clung to her body with killer heels.

"What brings you here Kane?" he asked as he waved his hand dismissing the two guards.

"I have had a vision of a dark evil, this is a darkness I have never encountered and wondered if you had any information about it?" I replied sitting on the opposite sofa to him and the woman.

Matteus stood and poured us both a whisky which I accepted and took a sip waiting for his reply.

He returned to his seat and stroked the thigh of the woman next to him, his hand going higher with every stroke. She didn't take her silver eyes off of me and the scent of her lust poured from her.
