Chapter 3

Andre's POV I stared at my buzzing phone, indicating that a message just popped in. "Hun?" " Francis is on the run. There are hundreds of slaves here than he had last night. It seems he is going a length out on this deal," Jinx replied. I laughed, staring at the message before me. It seems it's time to bring that man to his senses, but first, I have to take care of the things before me. I opened up some files and engrossed myself in them. Hours later, I closed the laptop before me, then picked up my suit from the office chair and walked out of the office towards where my car was. I got in the car, and it drove off away speedingly. I stared from inside the car, watching the bustling activities outside the street as I was in deep thoughts "My patience had run out. Tomorrow is the deadline, and if he doesn't surrender and meet up with the deal… it's only tomorrow that can tell what will happen to him." I thought. "Take me to KSS bar, I need some wine to quench my thirst," I said to Elaurd, my driver. "Okay, boss," He replied hoarsely and stepped on the accelerator as the car drove away speedingly. Soon, a 6-story building came into our view as we got closer to it. Three huge words decorated with dazzling light stood at the front of the first floor under the dark sky. I walked out of the car, heading towards the entrance, I took out my VVIP card and showed it to the burly man before me. "Welcome again, Boss," the man greeted me with a fawning smile on his face, and I simply nodded in response. I pushed the door open, and an earth-shattering noise greeted me. A crowd of people dancing and drinking greeted me. I walked past them and headed towards the VIP section. On getting there, little or no noise was heard, and the sound of my footsteps resounded in the hallway. I made a turn and opened a door with the number '0978' on it. "Caesar, what is it we have today?" I asked the skinny man before me. "Francis Hosten is at the bar in section three. He is having a deal with one of your clients, probably trying to coax them into his company," Caesar said from where he was sitting on the coach among the women. "I see, then it won't hurt to visit him next, but I have something more important to do. You can call him in here when I am ready," I told him and walked out from where he was. I opened the door that linked to another place, and a pink-colored hallway came into view. I took out a cigarette turned to the left and was about to light it when someone bumped into me and the cigarette fell in the process. A pair of slender legs crushed the cigarettes with their heels and continued walking but stopped and turned. My gaze stared at the lady who was breathing heavily before me, I could smell the stench of alcohol coming off her body. "Can't you see that someone is about to pass by? Tsk, all these stupid country boys," She cursed out loud and walked away hurriedly. I stared at where she was as what just happened was too fast-paced for my brain to register. Who is she? Did she just refer to me as a country boy? I watched the lady grumbling and wobbling as she made her way out of the club. She looked quite cute with her face all red and puffy, just like a drenched red flower. My perfect prey. I wondered who she was to be so bold. One of my guards wanted to go after her, but I stopped him. I wouldn't want to bother myself with such distractions. “ Let's go,” I waved, walking into the club. *** Thirty minutes later, I stared with bored eyes at the man on chains before me, his body soaked in blood and filled with scars. "Ha! Lord Francis," I only sighed, but he looked up with fear written all over his face. "I-am, so sorry, Lord Andre! Please, please give me a second chance to correct my wrongdoings!" Francis begged profusely even to the point of hitting his forehead hard on the floor, blood spilt out on the spot, and I glanced down amused. "I see you didn't look at that before putting your head on it. Sigh, I thought I warned you not to mess with the deal I gave to you," I yawned tiredly as the man slowly raised his head, and in the middle of his forehead was a nasty hole with blood gushing out from it. I walked up to him and squatted at his front, staring at the blood as they ran down his face. I looked down and saw the nail that pierced his head. "P-please! It was a mistake, I beg of you!" The man screamed out like he had lost his senses. His eyes were bloodshot with veins popping out from his forehead. "Tsk tsk tsk, shouldn't you have thought of the implications? And get the f**k away from me, you moron," I slapped his forehead and got up. I watched as he whined in pain. The room was filled with the stench of blood and sweat. I walked towards the table that had a lot of weapons on it. I sighed heavily as I raised the machete to a good length. "Mm… why do I have the feeling that killing you will make me a little… relieved?" I revealed a sinister look as the room dropped low in temperature and soon it was getting hot and unbearable. “ I have a deal for you. I-I can give you my daughter, as surety till I pay off my debts,” He screamed, sweating profusely. “ Why do I care about some hoe?” I simply said, grinning. “ I can show you her picture-” With a faint smile, I signaled one of the men to bring his phone. As the phone lit up, I caught a familiar face. “ My perfect prey…” I mumbled. “ She is yours until I pay off my debts…please, spare me!” Francis begged. He was obviously a scumbag but then, it wouldn't be bad taming a wild cat like her. “ Sign it!” I ordered, my eyes still fixed on the picture. I couldn't stop thinking of how I was going to tame my fierce prey.
