Chapter 18

1080 Words
Maya POV I quickly followed Andre asked he walked away, with my hands twisted in a fist, I couldn’t believe he’d be so rude to me, making me look like a complete fool who’s at his back and call. Well, that was a wrong statement, I should know he was this rude. There’s nothing good for nothing man like Andre couldn’t do. I couldn’t let him get away as I was determined to confront him for what he had just said. “Andre!” “Andre!” I yelled after him, but he just kept on walking, ignoring me totally. “Stop!” “You listen to me!” I yelled angrily, rushing to catch his pace. “f**k! I’m going to scream and tear down the building!” I yelled but he still didn’t listen to me. “What the f**k is wrong with this man!” I mentally yelled as I ran to him as fast as I could. Finally I was standing before him, blocking his path. “Move,” he stated dryly, but I scoffed as I stretched my hands out, making sure they was no way for him to go through. “I’m not going anywhere until you listen to me,” I said, avoiding his angry gaze. I could see his chest rising and falling in anger but I chose not to care, because I knew he wouldn’t hurt me since I’m kind of important to him. Or so I thought. “Don’t piss me off Maya,” He said and I rolled my eyes. “Can you stop treating me like one of your little bitches? Cmon I was drugged, why did you have to make it seem like I was forcing myself on you?” I asked, stating my complaint blatantly. “Made it seem?” He asked and I furrowed my brows in confusion, wondering what he meant. “You were literally over me, wanting to get f****d and you think you deserve any seconds of my time?” he threw the words at me and my eyes widened in embarrassment. For a moment my mouth were opened but I couldn't form words. He had just thrown a very big punch in my guts, a punch I wouldn't recover from so easily. “Don’t ever try doing this with me Maya, Never!” He warned and he tried walking away, but the words suddenly left my mouth before I could even realize it. “Says a man who need me to seduce information out of another man. You claim you detest women, but you literally can’t do without them,” I said, but he shook his head and he continued walking. “If I could meet the woman that turned you this way, I would Infact worship her, she did something that every woman should be proud of.” “Shut up,” he stood on his track as his voice came out lowly. “She deserves a medal or even a standing ovia….” “I said shut up!” He yelled as he spun around to face her, his face twisted in anger and his voice echoed furiously. "You don’t listen do you?” he bellowed and before I could realize what was going on, his hand flew up, his fingers wrapping around my neck in a tight, menacing grip. His eyes blazed with fierce intensity, and for a moment, it seemed as though he might actually hurt me. My eyes widened in shock and fear as I tried to pry his fingers loose from his grip, but he held me firm, my strength unable to match his. With a trembling hand, I reached up and tapped gently on his wrist, my eyes pleading with him to release his grip. "Please," I whispered, her voice barely audible. “W…what are you doing,” I said, hoping he’d leave me alone, but instead of calming him down, my touch seemed to enrage him further. His fingers tightened around my neck, his knuckles turning pale. I winced in pain, unable to breath properly as his strong hands kept on choking me, and at some point I felt I was going to give up anytime soon. “You think you can say s**t about me? Huh?” “You don’t know what I’ve been through! The things I’ve done to survive and how far I’ve gone! And you think you can judge me?” He yelled angrily. “God! I detest women!” He spat, his eyes darkening in each word. In this moment I felt like putting him in his place, but I knew this wasn’t the right time, because right now I’ve created a monster I needed to get away from. And I was scared to my wits with the way he reacted. I was slowly loosing my breath, without knowing what to do, I forced out a tremulous apology. "I'm sorry," I whispered, my eyes brimming with tears from the effect of his grip. I guessed that only enraged him further, as he snarled with contempt and before I could realize what was going on, he threw me to the floor, his strength sending me crashing down onto the hard surface. My palms scraped against the ground, and I cried out in pain and shock, unable to fathom why he was this mean. I struggled to sit up, and he loomed over me, his face twisted in a malevolent scowl. “The next time you try this Maya, I’d be sure to send your corpse to your father,” he said, but he quickly shook his head. “That’d be an easy death,” he replied himself. “I’ll be sure to bury you alive naked, with one of your legs missing,” he threatened and I felt a cold shiver of fear run down my spine. I started to imagine different scenarios of him hurting me and I hurriedly shook my head, not wanting to face the horror side of Andre. "Get lost!" he bellowed, his voice dripping with venom. I hurriedly stood up and I ran to the side, but they was a wall in front of me, I ran back again only to stand in front of Andre. I was disoriented and I couldn’t think or get my actions in place. “I said get out of my sight!" He rephrased and that was the last clue I needed as I ran out of his sight.
