Eli had improved greatly, even Dr. Keaton had to commend him greatly. She also commended Halle especially for her sacrifice. In her words, “If you weren’t so determined to help Eli with your unexplainable love and dedication, I wonder if we would be here today.”
That made Halle happy. That was her work. To be a teacher that placed her pupils above anything.
