That was Halle. She didn’t sound angry this time like when he dropped her but maybe a little bit surprised.
“Come on, Halle. There was just no time to talk about it. Yunno, I tell you everything." Raymond squeaked.
Lachlan watched Halle as she ignored Raymond and turn to look him in the eyes. “How come you never mentioned him? Not even once. Now I feel like a fool!”
“You don’t have to feel like that, babe. I’m sorry.”
Lachlan didn’t plan on making today a day of apologies but now, he had apologized to Halle more than once. The day had kicked off really nice. Halle spent the night over at his house while Eli was with Leah and Charlie. It was hard trying to separate the kids so they worked around it instead.
