The sun shone over Lachlan's face but that wasn’t what woke him up. It was the stirring of a body beside him. It was Halle. They had moved from the sitting from to the room in their moment of passion. he watched her stand and tiptoe to the door of his room.
“Where do you think you are going?”
She was startled, she faced him looking kike a little child caught stealing a cookie. “Hmmn. We woke up late. I have to get to Eli.”
“Are you sure I this is just some plan of yours to avoid me?”
“No.” She was biting on her lower lip and rubbing her hands together. She looked really nervous
“Calm down, Halle.”
“I am calm.” She snapped and ran out of the room.
