Chapter 7 Playing

I continued to torture this young man underwater. I rode him over and over filling myself with his climax. By this point he wasn't even fighting me. I came to realization that he may or may not be uncomfortable. So I pulled us both through the water out onto the bank. He gasped for air then, coughing water out of his lungs. To my confusion. I then asked breathlessly," Can you not breathe underwater?" He continued coughing and I waited patiently. After he was able to speak, He cracked out a simple "No." Then he collapsed on the river bank dripping wet and completely naked. I had never been more spent in my life. So I carefully constructed a camouflage bubble of magic around my self and my knew chosen mate and hummed myself to sleep. I was woken with a pounding on my magic bubble from the inside. He let out a curse and then walked over to me. He held his breathe as he barely even touched me with his hand. He tapped me with three fingers in a single motion and then when I did nothing he etched closer and placed his entire palmn on my right shoulder. He shook me gently as if he didn't know if he could. He was hesitant in all his movements. Almost as if he thought I would break. More confusion swept through me. I unintentionally furrowed my brows. Aella never treated me as if I was fragile, nor did she ever wake me. I only caught her sneaking out once or twice but I never stopped her. He spoke then carefully, " Could you let me out of this bubble? I need to go outside." This was also vexing. Why? So I then spoke, eyes still closed, " If you think you could run away think again, we're mates now and you belong to me." I let the bubble drop and stood up stretching because for the first time in a long time I was rested. I noticed my mate out the corner of my eye Saunder off to a tree and looking back periodically until he faced the tree trunk and he grasped his manhood and began relieving himself. I had no inclination to watch however it surprised me. He didn't try to run away. He just had bodily needs. I never had any, considering I never had to eat before. Substanace was given by my song. Even when I lived with him, I just sat at the table not trusting the food. After his very long stream was done he walked back over his head was down, as if he still wouldn't meet my eyes. He said in a clear voice, " I didn't know my brothers would hurt you, or try to. I thought we were on the same page and was just gonna talk to you about not killing us. We knew you had killed your last family and from what we know of them they deserved it." His eyes stayed glued to my feet. I replied with a curt but simple response," It doesn't matter your brothers are dead regardless." He nodded as if he didn't feel the guilt or even grief. He replied," My brothers were always hungry for more power I think they thought that you could give them that. I knew you were coming back, I always knew.' he knelt then at my feet,' I will always be apart of you now and if you're carrying my child, then I'll protect you and it with my life. I'll always respect both of you, and I'll never faultier in my duties as a man.' He stood then this time looking me directly in my eyes as an equal. I didn't know much about mates chosen or otherwise. But what I did know is that in this moment this man would follow me till the ends of the earth. It was nighttime then, although I still had one more person of his family to kill. I asked then, ' Where is your father?' I didn't care if he answered, I would find him regardless. But he answered,' He is on his way. He's older so traveling gets the better of him. He should be here any moment.' He knelt again and pushed his head against my belly. Ear pressed to my womb. I didn't know what type of fey he was or even if he could hear the tiny heartbeat in there. So I started asking questions then. Starting with his name, age, race. They seemed like good starting points. I learned shortly that his name was Typhon and he was the same age as me, along with he was dark fey. I marveled at this, because I never had heard of a dark fey before. Tree feys, water fey, and earth fey were the only ones I knew of. He let me know that the dark fey were a dying race and that they were mistreated mostly for their magic. Curses and hexes were their specialty along with telekinesis. He also had other magic that I had never heard of or experienced. I was intrigued and was about to ask him more questions when I heard snapping of limbs and rustling of leaves from off in the distance. My head snapped towards the noise, when I heard another noise from the opposite side this time only breathing. I knew that one was fixing to die while the other I was still questioning. Typhon snapped towards the sound on our left, the very quiet movement knowing his father was coming in the other direction. For a split second I thought it was another ambush. But then dread sat in my stomach when I smelled a familiar female scent. I did not expect her to find me so easily or early. There was bound to be a drastic change in her plans when she noticed what had occurred here. I didn't know what had came over me maybe it was my new mate instinct or maternal but I grabbed my Typhon by his hair and dove into the water. I created a fissure and bubble as I had before. This time letting him breathe. We sank to the bottom. I watched as two figures emerged from the trees. I couldn't see clearly because this river was murky. It was green and full of algae and river bass. I knew one was a man, and he was my target. I swallowed my magic letting it build I let it slowly seep to the surface. Then in one fellow swoop the river rose in a wave and collapsed on the man, dragging him under. I used the river currents to bring him closer as I watched him writhe in agony unable to breathe. And then once his now lifeless body started floating up I let him go. The man beside me breathed a sigh of relief. Although I expected tears I turned and faced him. He didn't even look sad. But there wasn't time to ask when I heard a splash and then there was an all too familiar face staring at us. She couldn't get inside the bubble but she could still see us. Her eyes glowed an unfamiliar green blue and she looked angry. She brought her fists down on my force field and hammered away screaming ,"Wasp, you're a wasp! A wasp with a tiny wasp. You sting. and it hurts so much. How could you!?" She hammered her fist some more and screamed over and over until her eyes lost focus and then she also stopped breathing. Typhon had krept up behind me then he circled his arms around my waist and held me close. This time I did feel the grief. I couldn't tell if it was his or mine own. I didn't want to look at her dead corpse any longer so floated us to the top of the water. The two bodies were swept away into the river as well. I knew that eventually they would be found but I had more pressing matters, my third family. The largest of all. They were next on the list and I couldn't dwell on this for long. I wouldn't allow myself to shed a single tear for anyone until all these families died by my hand. The third family was next. I'd recognize their scent any where and anytime. That was how much I hated them. I knew that I only needed a car ride from their house to the fourth families so they had to be around here somewhere. I started heading in any direction. Letting my senses take over. I had walked for a mile or so when Typhon spoke," If you're looking for the third family, they have already died." I pondered this. The family that was a large family. They were very powerful and held much authority. They manipulated people for no reason and every reason. Every single person in that family was a psychopath. They held no emotion which is why they climbed the ranks to power. Not afraid of getting dirty, not afraid of hurting people. Which creates lots of enemies.I looked at him distraught. And I demanded to know more. 'What do you mean?' He said, "The family who took you in is dead, I killed them shortly after you moved in." 'Why?' I breathed angrily 'Because they deserved every second of it, but I kept tabs on the rest of them cousins and such. We can obliterate the entire family if you would like." I was confused, part of my plan foiled. Then a breeze rolled in and I took a whiff. I found a perfect opportunity just ten miles from where we were. And I also found out, that in that moment my new mate was a liar. The female was off traipsing about. He was lying and I didn't know why but the only thing I could do was kill. My hunting instinct clocked in and I felt more blood pump throughout my body and I started run again. Nothing could catch me so why not. I made it half way to my destination, then I heard a crushing tumbling from behind me. I turned and stopped in my tracks. Catching hold of my mate with an arm out. I liked the tingling feeling in my arms and body when I touched him but still unsure I held him at length. I asked him then why was he following me. He replied," I'm your mate where else would I go? I don't know who you're after, but I'm coming with you. I'll protect you and my child for as long as I live." This was stated previously but I had no idea that a simple answer could rock my world. He really meant it. He cared for our child and by collateral he cared for me. Even if it meant going against one of the most powerful were families. He wasn't very strong but I believed he at least would throw himself in harms way just for me. But he didn't know that Sirens were damn near industrictible. However a pregnant one fluctuated in power because of the hormones fluctuating in her body. I thought twice about my decision and decided to take time to adjust to my knew disease. I sauntered closer to him and asked, Do you even know magic?" His reply was short and sweet.,"No." I asked again, 'Do you know how to use nature you are a dark fey are you not?" 'No, my mother's people knew how to hex and curse but she died before she could teach us anything.' I realized then that it may be harder than I realized to kill the people I needed to kill. Especially if he couldn't do anything. He may be a descendant of dark fey but he was non magical at best. So, I decided to teach him. As much as I hated the idea. I started walking in the opposite direction towards a cliff I had past while running up the mountains. I needed time. For my child and for my mate. He might not actually care for me, but he would at least be trained to help care for our child. I couldn't stand him regardless. Our bond made it harder to think my own thoughts. At that moment I just wanted to be near him, maybe touch him. But if my goals were gonna be realized I needed a clear head and I needed to get him out of my system. So, he followed me like a little puppy all the way through the mountains and treatoruous paths until I found the cave I had saw before. It was cold inside this cave kind of like the ocean. I loved it but his teeth immediately began to chatter. As a dark fey he was really a let down. I told him to gather fire wood and water while I found him food. I didn't know what kind of food he liked I just found some berries and a rabbit. I came back to a fire but no water. I guess he didn't need to drink. I cooked him the rabbit and gave him the whole thing. He looked at me dumbfounded when I told him I didn't eat. 'You don't have to eat? How do you stay strong?' "I only need the Siren's songs in order to survive, sustenance from food is unnecessary." I told him. He didn't finish the entire rabbit but just laid down on the cold floor near the fire. He closed his eyes but I knew by his breathes he wasn't sleeping. I didn't care by this point I was actually tired I curled up on the other side creating another dome to protect us keeping in the heat and drifted off to sleep.
