It was just the doctor’s prediction from his foresight as a professional medical personnel. Unfortunately, the doctor was right, but his suggestions were far from what is happening now.
Will this bleeding meet an end? A day after forever?
This pain has robbed me of my heart, left me with nothingness
At least something I can brag of that can finally stay forever.
The world is ending; I don’t mind leading the queue rather than living life meaningless.
Distant music reeled into Naomi’s consciousness as she lay with little or no life on the sick bed.
Hot tears fled opposite sides of her eyes, each drawing a visible line, hunting its way down to the back of her neck.

Naomi’s fingers folded into a fist on hearing the second and third headlines.
Her heart couldn't palpitate as it should, her face had gone pale, her birth canal felt sour, and the blood flow didn't come without pain;
It only felt like a scrapper had been used by a strong hand to scrape, escaping heavy flows from her birth canal.
Her eyelid twitched, and her face converged in with wrinkles scattered randomly. Suddenly, the Nurse noticed that she alerted the doctor that Naomi was responding to simple reflexes.
The doctor invited Clara into the ward to have a word beside his patient.
He conducted simple examinations and jotted down the situation, observed.
“There’s a problem.” The doctor reported in whispers now facing Clara.
“Is everything okay, doc?”
“She might lose the baby if we don’t find a match for her blood group. Her Uterus wall had been severely ruptured. And she’s sloth to cloth, regardless of the medication we have administered.
The challenge now is that she needs blood O minus. A rare blood group.
The sad part is that both the mother and the child might not make it if the blood loss persists.
Like what you're seeing on the bed.” the doctor said pointing fingers where blood was spilled about Naomi’s honey pot.
Clara teared up because they had run out of available money to begin a search.
She had exceeded her credit card limit for the day, and Naomi’s credit had had been retracted by the government, perhaps, Damian after the Laurents failed to pay off their debts.
Clara walked past the doctor with no life, lost in her reverie of thoughts on whom to call next for help.
A call came through her phone distracting her from her thoughts. She picked up and explained the situation.
After she dropped the call, she sent herself to the floor, sitting there on the brink of collapse.
“Hi. I can help.” A sonorous masculine voice that came from above her struck. Clara was forced to open her eyes to black,well-ironed pants, with a lustrous, expensive cover shoe standing elegantly before her. She raised her head up high to see the face behind the voice that sent chills through her spine.
She quickly wiped her tears with the back of her hand and pushed herself up, only to fumble a few steps; luckily, his arm gripped her arm, strong, and then she found balance.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes, thank you for the helping hand, “ sniffing in her catarrh with a surge of embarrassment.
“It’s nothing.” “I am O minus, and I understand how rare it is to find our match. I will help out if you’re okay with that.”
In between excitement and prayers, she let out a wry smile that came with teardrops.
The excitement for the help, and a word of prayer that Rhesus factors don't start a ‘not-my-match’ show.
“Thank you so so so so much” she sang it as a chorus while leading the young man to the doctor for actual directions for the matching test proper.
“Bingo! It’s a match. Baby girl.”
“When di…d you turn O m..inus, bad blood?” Naomi shuttered.
“Better not die.” with a calm tone, she expressed her deepest desire to see Naomi on her feet.

The blood transfusion brought calm to Naomi’s health. As she could blink her eyes Im responded to reflex in the morning.
Now. The bills were twice as huge. A whopping $5,000 after the first set had been cleared.
“You have my phone here, Clara? I'll call Ethan’s brother for help.”
“Baby girl, are you sure about this?”
“I am as confused as. You have done enough, Clara. We are already reading minus. We can't afford to go into alarming debts.”
“Hmmm”. “ Just be careful, sweetheart. I am only protecting you from your past.”
The mean looks on Naomi’s face shut Clara out. Then she cut in requesting. “Oh. How bad of me.
I'd like to express my gratitude to the stranger. I heard you and the doctor mumbling about the stranger. Where is he?”
“Uhhm.. I should check. I'll be back in a jiffy.” she journeyed to the spot where she met the blonde hair dazzling young man.
On getting there, she could only meet strange faces. A bit confused, she stepped forward to the receptionist counter to enquire about that stranger who had no name. No. She had forgotten to ask.
“Excuse me, for a second. There's this tall blonde hair guy, with blue eyes, 6.5 feet tall… uhm.. on blue… no. Black pants. And navy blue long-sleeved shirt. Yes. But had his sleeves folded to elbow level.”
“Sorry, ma’am, I just resumed morning duty a few minutes ago. Maybe my colleague will have had a clue of whom you're talking about.” The receptionist responded with a smile, mixed with uncertainty.
“Oh. Okay. I mean, that's fine. One more thing, please, kindly check my bill; I mean my friend’ Naomi Laurent. And give me the grand total.”
“Right away ma’am.”
He hits a couple of buttons on the monitor and scrolls aimlessly with the mouse, a bit confused.
Then she let out a little confused question.
“Have you not cleared before?”
“yes, I cleared the cleared the first set. So, I am here for the second.”
“From this record, you have cleared everything.”
Clara's greedy instinct pulled in. She taps her head gently 6 times, acting like she had forgotten.”
“Oh. Oh. Oh. I forgot…”
“The first receipt on my monitor has, Clara. But the second has no name.”
“No name?” Clara retorted.
“Yes, ma’am, no name.”
“That's fine. I forgot to.. add that. Thanks for your time. We should check out soon. Thank you.”

“Next time you have bad health, you'll have to rush you to the hospital. Babe, I don't like that place.”
“That reminds me, about the hospital bill thing, who wouldn't run off, you or me? C’mon, baby girl, I was damn broke to afford an extra $5,000 bills.”
“Wait, Clara. Are you not sure Mr. Strange is behind the cleared hospital bills?”
