Flickers of lights fled to every nook and cranny of the room. Thunder claps danced to the rhythmic lights that consistently changed colours from red to blue to green at five-second successive intervals.
At the sudden lash of a powerful thunderclap, a tall shadow appeared, fitting the door frame perfectly, with sharply chiselled abs visible enough to the imagination.
The shoulders sprawled wide to the left and right of the arm, carrying a small-sized head. Its feet were deeply rooted to the tiled floor, commanding aura.
A familiar fragrance diffused through every corner of the room, just enough to choke anyone who wasn't familiar. Fear crept into her stomach as the masculine-like shadow moved closer, now appearing larger than the initial sight.
The blue light fell to the face of the familiar face as It stepped closer. The lustring blonde hair sparked deja Vu. It felt like she’d been in that place and the same scenario before, some time ago, maybe in the past life.
But something clicked. Her mind shivered in fear, but her body quivered in strange desire; an internal conflict erupted.
Her mind, keeping her safe? But her body welcomed the now reddish-faced stranger standing elegantly, 6.4 feet above the ground. At this time, the surge of adrenaline had forced her to wrap herself in a duvet in bed. Unsure if to run or stay.
She forced her eyes, her way of hiding from the inevitable that was now close to her, near the bed, she curled in the duvet and sheets.
“You really think I will forget you in a hay? Laughable.” the strange-familiar voice roared, with sheer anger piercing through every ounce of word.
Everything about the strange voice, smell, body size, and walking steps clicked. Perfectly.
Her curiosity rose to roof level, forcing her to uncurl to seize a glance at the face. Shocked! she whispered unsure –” Damian…? Is that you?”
He shifted close enough to grab her arms. She couldn't protest as she had lost every ounce of strength to shy away due to the sudden terror that fell on her on short notice, and her tiring stomach size played a major role.
Damian sprung her open from her hiding duvet, making her face him, and her back pressed helplessly against the bed.
“Interesting, you now accommodate a little brat with a convicted father.”
He blurted, now leaning his body weight on the bed, with his knee and his left leg standing on the tip of his toe half bent to provide support for his long muscular arm that he used to pin Naomi’s hand to the bed.
His fragrance and masculine breath caressed her skin, causing her legs to twitch, her feminine core responding to that whole package in front of her.
But this time, she felt guilt, fear and pleasure taking turns, burning in her gut. She was bewildered on how to feel, knowing fully well that she had almost sent this fine creature below six feet.
Because of her naive and attention-demanding–selfish nature. It had to be about her or nothing.
“Dam… Damia…n. I.. “ “Shhhh. You dare not render apologies, you selfish thing. I would appreciate you keeping those weapons of destruction together till I am done with you.”
He fixed his bloody gaze in her eyes, running his left index finger through her skin, drawing invisible lines.
Again, his heavy breath met her neck. The sensitive spot. Just like in high school days, the last time, they almost had a nice time. Almost.
Oh, how bad she wanted this, but guilt wouldn't leave her neck, and fear wouldn’t let her sip in the nostalgic moment. How bad I want this.
I can feel his gallant soldier giving powerful kicks against my thigh below his waist. That's a sign that he still likes me as much as I like how he used to wrap around me like a shawl.
“I have waited all my life to have you. You are not even aware that I left Lucy because no one could complete me like you do.”
“But you betrayed me!!!” He raised his voice, and thunderclaps accompanied him, blasting terror into her veins. She shivered, crying an ocean of tears.
“I’m sorry Damian..” She professed crying out loud. “Hahahaha…that tickles. Do that again.” He mocked with his thick alluring–masculine voice.
“I offered you everything, sweetheart. A life, most especially. You studied economics in school. But you have been helping me spend all my money before settling for that riff-raff. What a great economist..” he chuckled in sheer mockery.
“You know what? I am waiting patiently for him to return so I can send him back to his creator, as it should be.”
“I want to know why you left to settle for less? After building you a home in my heart, you left it hollow.
After I helped your father get back on his feet, this is how you repay? Did I mention that your demised sister wasn’t on scholarship throughout school? Hahahaha.. I was the scholarship. I don’t have the whole time for these c**k and bull stories. Your mischievous mother will lend you details.”
“Don’t use such words on my mother, you liar. You were cheating with Lucy. Blatant liar.” she raised the agony in her voice and dropped it slowly when the grip around her hand tightened.
“All I wanted from you was to make me a fulfilled man. And if I don't have you, nobody will.”
“You will never have me, Damian.” She cursed. But her body wasn’t part of the show. It clearly voiced, I want you.
“Poor thing and your body quivers every dying second I am around you? You can hide that better. Pancake, I will forgive you on one condition. Just one condition.”
“Eh, Ehrm.. about your memory loss. I am fully aware. Someone has been spiking your drips, water and meals with domoic acid. An extract of the neurotoxin found in Shellfish, mussels and crabs. I had to stop and reverse the order. The reason why you see, and talk to me with your memory intact today. It wasn’t the Doctor. When we’re done with investigations, I will let you know.” Her eyes popped open in shock and her mouth left agape.
“Don’t worry about your mother. She approves of us. Yeah, she wouldn't dare stand in my way anyways.”
“Like I was saying if you want your life back, that security, your shopping mall.” Tears courted her lids again.
“This building is probably the last thing you guys own. and it is already issued as collateral for a loan and will be due in 7 days.”
“Like just anything you will ever want. I could give it back to you if yofulfilll this one thing” He crept his fingers from her neck, heading down. Letting a grin court the edge of his lip.
“Abort this bastard!”
