The darkness continued, I had spotted the plant in the distance and before I could gather my senses, I was drawn to it. I was suddenly standing in front of the plant in someone else's body, it felt like I was a passenger as the scene played out before me.
Inside the vines of the plant swayed slower as if it could immediately sense the presence of its prey and didn't want to spook it. I took a step in and awkwardly chucked a collector at the plant. It flopped on the floor with a loud slap about halfway between the door and the plant but it rolled slightly back towards the door as if it didn't want to be there any more than I did, I kept watching as my body acted on its own accord.
