I sat in my car driving against my better judgement towards a town I knew very little of, I had only driven past it a couple of times, not seeing anything particularly interesting about the town or its occupants except the fact that it was quite secluded from the rest of the population, I hadn't seen anything attractive about the seclusion of the town until Merrick had drawn my attention to it, he had offered me a way out and even though I had been very reluctant to take it at first, it seemed like the decision that would solve all my problems.
