“We are here to visit Maria Roldan senior.” Gia said when she and Michael walked into the Medi-Centre Asylum. The Receptionist took a closer look at Michael and Gia and refused to let them see their mother, giving a lame excuse. Smiling, Gia asked to see the Manager but the receptionist became a little tense. Gia noticed this and placed her contact card on the counter.
“I want to see your manager.” She said, looking at the receptionist firmly. The lady looked at Gia and then at her card. There was actually no need to show her the card as she already knew who Gia was.
“Ma’am, there is no need for the card. I know who you are. It is just that the manager is not in today.” the lady replied in a low tone.
“Who is in charge then?”
“I suggest you come back some other time.”
