A day after Penny had handed herself over to the police, Christopher received a tip from a source inside the police department. He headed to Gia’s office that very morning to inform her about the news. He crossed the room to Gia’s table and took a seat, facing Gia with a grave expression on his face. Gia recoiled in her seat. It was just 9 am; too early for her to receive bad news. Knowing she was nervous, Christopher leaned back in his seat and tried to suppress his urge to tell her what he had found out recently but Gia seemed calm after a few minutes and she herself inquired about the matter.
