Gia was seated on a swing outside her house basking in the fresh air of the night as she read some business articles. Luam came to her and gave her a brown envelope. She put aside her phone and opened the envelope. It contained the pictures of Gilbert and Alika kissing in his car. Gia snorted as she looked at them one by one. She could not help but feel like she was burning inside. There was a sharp pain in her heart, crippling her sense of reasoning as anger took over, but she wondered why it hurt so much to see Gilbert and Alika together.  “They were taken after the meeting.” Luam told her. “Thank you Luam.
