I could feel the turmoil of emotions that threatened to burst out of me when I stepped into the Maldives a few hours later.
There was no one to chit-chat on the plane, even though I pretended not to notice and even right now I can almost hear her voice gushing about how beautiful the Maldives are.
What the hell were all these bizarre feelings that wouldn't allow me to have my own thoughts? I was sure as hell I had a life before I met Rose, so, what were all these feelings like if I had lost a precious jewel?
