Rose's POV
Another evening was here again, but this one was different. I kept turning restlessly in bed as I waited for Derek to be back from work. I didn't know if I should pretend to be asleep or just be awake.
My test results were sprawled all over the table for him to see. I had gone back to collect it after the trip to the passport Agency and collected the required medications as well.
I had asked for test strips when I was about to leave and told the doctor that I knew he wanted to do some pregnancy tests on me but I would save him the stress and work with the pregnancy test strip instead since I already knew I wasn't pregnant.
I walked into his restroom and was in there for a little while before I came out with a negative test strip and dropped it on his table.
