It took Thea’s resolve not to grab the Myst by the arm and drag him away. She turned, staring the man down. She wasn’t someone who backed down from a challenge and wasn’t going to start now. She was a Griffin Rider and for all that Ronin had upset her sense of equilibrium, she was still strong. Strong enough to take on a Myst, if it meant protecting her son.
‘My secret?’ She lifted a brow and Marius nodded. He peered around her at the Ronin speaking to Ilan and Freya.
‘That you’re nameless,’ he nodded and she was instantly relieved.
Thea smiled, shaking her head, ‘that isn’t a secret,’ she assured the man. ‘It’s a public record. Besides, anyone from Veren knows.’
