The journey down from the mountains took days. They move only at night, using hidden paths and rough trails. By the time they reached the outskirts of the large city, Seraphina felt as though she had left every part of her old self behind. She was covered in mud and rain, wearing a heavy cloak pulled low to hide her face. Before she came down she saw someone in that cabin standing but no one there until she see it clear the image of him on the night she didn't fight anymore and accept the thing called death she was wearing a torn gown, and fresh wounds and her eyes was tired and who already give up . That's why they came down to make the first move remove every trace of that woman, and make a revenge more fun, making people dumb and slowly using their own trick to get what they deserve. They did not head towards the city center, where the street were paved the building rose high into the sky. Instead, they went to a district near the river, a place where laws were loosely enforced and rules rarely applied. Here, people kept secret for a price, and silence was a currency. Seraphina had only ever read about this world in report; she had paid others to manage these areas on her behalf. Now , she walked through it as a stranger, carrying nothing but a new name and a burning desire for revenge. The man led her to a building tucked between two large warehouse. It looked old and worn from the outside, but inside it clean and orderly. The air smelled of herbs, alcohol, and boiled linen. It was not a hospital, but it was place where things could be done away from curious eyes. An older woman was waiting for them. Her hands were stained with ink, and her eyes were sharp and observant. They called her. The Healer. She could fix anything, for the right price. She examined Seraphina's scars quietly, then nodded once and gesture toward a room at the back. "This will hurt," The man said quietly. "And it will take time to heal. Once it is done, you cannot go back to the way you looked before Are you sure?" Seraphina pulled back her hood, revealing her face fully. She touched the scar that marked her skin. "They know my face. They can easily track me because if I have this face I can't easily I'm safe enough. If I look someone else, I can walk right past of them. I can even stand next to them. I can smile at them. And they will never know who is holding knife against their backs." She lifted her chin, her expression hard and calm. "Do it. Remove every trace of what they did to me. Erase the evidence of their crime from my skin. Seraphina Voss had scar. Elara has none." The process was agonizing. It involved cutting away damaged tissue, re-stitching the skin, and applying strong herbal mixture to ensure smooth healing. It was skilled work not a complete transformation, but enough change to make someone look twice, enough to blur the memory of her face. For weeks afterwards, she lay in a rented room, recovering. The pain was constant and deep, but she bear it . Every throb and ache was a reminder of exactly why she was here. When the bandages finally came off, she sat before a small, cracked mirror. The woman staring back was still her, yet completely different. The scars were gone, and her features had shifted slightly, softer in some place , Sharper in others. Her eyes remained that district amber colour, but the expression behind them was cold, and entirely new. She looked like a stranger. She looked like danger wrapped in beauty. Elara Vance, she thought, claiming the name as her own. No family record.or anything in her background. "Perfect," she whispered, her fingers shaking so hard while touching the glass of mirror. From that day on, her life became a relentless cycle of training and learning. She was transforming from a sheltered heiress into someone who's capable to survive from someone wanted her dead. They moved to an isolated property on the very edge of the city. Her days began before dawn. Physical training was the priority. She ran until her lungs burned and legs gave way . She learned how to fight properly. How to strike where it hurt most, how to disable an apponent quickly and quietly, how to use her body as a weapon. The man pushed her harder than she thought possible. He made her fall again and again until she learned how to land without breaking bones and tearing muscles. He made her fight him until she could block his blows and participate his moves. "Pain is information," he could tell her. "It tells you where you are weak. It tells you where you need to be stronger. Do not fear to fall. Use it to make yourself stronger." And she did. Every time her muscles screamed in protest, she thought of Damian's hands on her waist, his false affection. Every time she was exhausted and wanted to rest, she thought of Lilith wearing what her mine, smiling her fake, sweet smile. Physical strength, however, was only half of what she needed. Seraphina had always been intelligent, but her sharpness had been wrapped in trust and kindness. Elara need to be sharp, cunning, and suspicious of everything and everyone. She realized quickly that Damian and Lilith were clumsy thieves at best. Damian was arrogant, too confident, in his own brilliance. Lilith was consumed by jealousy and vanity, careless with details. They were making mistake small one, but mistake nonetheless. Elara would find them, and she would use them to bring them down. She also studied people. She learned how to walk with absolute confidence. Before, she had glided with elegance; now, she stalked with purpose. She learned how to speak. Her voice was no longer soft and warm. It was rich, low, and cold. She learn how to smile. She learning everything and remove every trace of her old one . The trauma of what happened still lingered. It lived in her habits. She locked doors three times before sleeping. She always sat facing the exit. She still had nightmares, waking up sweating and breathless, her hand instinctively reaching for the blade she kept beneath her pillow. But she not weaker or no longer scared. The memories didn't weaken her; they fuelled her. One evening, six months after she woken up in that mountain cabin, she stood in the middle of her training room. She wore dark, practical clothes. Her body was lean, strong, and hard . Her muscles were defined, her movements fluid and precise. She held a dagger, turning it over in her hand, watching the light from the tv news they play. "You are ready," the man said. He stood in the. Doorway watching her. He had witnessed every step of her transformation, and now his eyes held nothing but confidence that she will succeed. "You look different. You more like calm and stable." Elara looked up. Her Amber eyes glowed in the dim light. She sheathed the blade and and walked to the window, looking out towards the sprawling city skyline.
