“A PLAN IS A PLAN. So, you wouldn’t need to be worried about me.”
I couldn’t help but think of Ryder’s words after Alpha Reid’s military men in the pack arrested him. Though everything is resolved now, I am not sure how he is, especially since I wasn’t been able to check on him afterward.
“Silly.” I pointed to myself. “I’m sure he is fine, for he is not the type of person that could easily be bent by anything, especially not towards the person that I wanted revenge from.” I convince myself.
Easily assuring that our deal is more than just a shallow one. But something worth a life, both of our lives.
My phone suddenly rings, looking at the caller ID, expectedly it was from Ryder. I then took a deep breath, a bit tense for some reason, and quickly calms myself
