Gavin walked me to the room I would be staying in for the night. It was like a fancy hotel room. I was almost afraid to sleep in it.
I sat the LuLu on the end of the bed and before Gavin could say anything there was a knock on the door. I opened it to find a small young woman with big brown eyes and a sweet smile.
“The King sent up some clothes for you.” She handed me some folded clothes.
“Thank you.”
Shutting the door, I looked at Gavin.
“Is it always like this?”
“Dustin’s realm is always like this. I wish my father's realm was more like Dustin’s to be honest.”
“How so?”
“Don’t get me wrong, my father is a fair King but nothing like Dustin. His people are his first priority and it shows. You will see if you ever come with me to visit my realm.”
