I was about to ask where Dustin was but a portal opened and he stepped through.
“Baby are you OK?” He said, stepping right up to me.
“I’m fine. But what is going on?”
“I was confirming some intel.”
“And?” Brayden jumped in.
“And it’s good. But it’s too dangerous. You need to stay here with your mother,” Dustin told him.
“No. I am meant to fight next to you.” Brayden was so sure but I felt like I was going to get sick. He was just a baby at sixteen. He didn’t need to fight at all.
