“Holy s**t!” Mikel spit out.
“Language,” Izzy scolded.
“What?” I didn’t understand why everybody was looking at me. I just told her what I had seen.
“This is AMAZING!” Mikel went on.
“What is happening to my son?” My mom asked.
“Having visions is part of his phoenix side. It’s very rare and usually has to be invoked.” Izzy explained.
“I didn’t do anything. It just came to me.”
“What were you doing when it happened?” Izzy asked.
“I was just sitting here eating.”
“Maybe we should talk about this when we don’t have company,” Mikel said, looking at Dustin.
“We can discuss details later,” Dustin assured Mikel.
“Is what he said real?” Kelly asked, looking at Izzy.
“It is,” Izzy said, giving her a smile.
