Chioma's POV
"Help me."
The words came out, but watching Fernando lean against that door covered in blood made me rethink my decision. What could he possibly do?
Fernando straightened up, maintaining his balance as he walked toward me slowly. He stopped right in front of me, staring.
"Help me," I said again.
Fernando looked me up and down and laughed shortly. I saw blood stains covering his teeth. He spat the blood from his mouth, wiping his mouth with the back of his arm. Still silent, he took two steps back, removed the metal strap from his left arm, then pulled off his blood-soaked white long-sleeved shirt and tossed it to the ground. His eyes stayed fixed on me.
"Look what finally showed up... my new meal." He scoffed.
I walked toward him quickly. "Listen, I don't have time for your shitty talk. You have to help me. It's urgent."
"Help you?" He laughed. "This must be a joke." He took off his trousers, leaving only his underwear.
"Do you really think I'd come all the way here just to throw fancy words at you?"
"You want me to help you... in a dress like that?" He gestured at me. "You're clearly passing a different message. But I'm sorry–can't have s*x with you now. As you can see, I'm exhausted." He turned his back.
"Why do you men think everything is always about s*x?" I yelled. "Well, it isn't. I haven't come here to sleep with you. It's your brother."
Fernando turned back to face me. "My brother? You mean Vinco?"
"Yes. And it's Sybil. He's got her damaged real bad." I pleaded.
"Oh, Sybil. That toy." He smirked. "She's a w***e, just like you, you know."
I inhaled three deep breaths to suppress my anger.
"I don't care whatever the f**k you think of me. Are you gonna help or not?"
"What exactly do you want me to do?" Fernando picked up a wine bottle, poured a little into a cup, and gulped it down.
"I don't know... anything. Call him on the phone. Tell him to release her."
Fernando looked at me and scoffed.
"You want me to call Vinco and tell him to stop whatever he's doing to Sybil?" He poured more wine.
"Yes. Exactly. You can do at least that, right?"
"Tch..." He shook his head. "You can hear yourself, right? Me doing that is just like telling a child not to play with its toy anymore." He sipped the wine again.
"Please, I beg you... I'll do anything."
"You know what you're asking for is really expensive." He squinted his eyes.
"Is it s*x? Fine. You can have me." I said confidently.
"I knew you'd say that. But no. Like I said, I'm exhausted. Can't f**k you right now, bunny." He paused. "Or better still... work for me." He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer.
"Work for you? Is that even possible? I work for Vinco." I frowned.
"Then there's nothing I can do for you."
"Okay, fine. I'll work for you. Now call him." Urgency in my voice.
"Good. I'm also greedy as well." He pressed against me. I could feel the hardness of his p***s rubbing against me.
"Alright, whatever." I pulled out of his arms.
Fernando took his phone from the desk and dialed Vinco's line. It rang. No answer.
"No answer. What do we do?" Fernando sat on his desk.
"Urgh." I sighed.
Suddenly his phone vibrated–Vinco calling back. Fernando answered, and they conversed in Spanish.
“¡Hola, amigo! ¿Adivina qué? Tengo a tu perra. Ven a buscarla”
(Hey, bro. Guess what? I've got your b***h. Come get her.)
There was a pause, as if Vinco was replying.
“Ah, y deja ir a Sybil, o de lo contrario no la tendrás. Y ya sabes de lo que soy capaz”
(Oh, and let Sybil go, or else you won't get her. And you know what I'm capable of.) Fernando cut the call.
"What did he say? Did he agree to let her go?" I asked anxiously.
"Well, that was fast."
"What? What was? Is that a yes or no?" Annoyed and bothered.
"Knowing my brother, he's never agreed to anything I've told him before. But he did this time. Crazy." He looked at me. "Aren't you a lucky gem? Finally found my brother's weakness."
"I don't care what's going on between you and your brother. But... thank you."
As I turned to leave, he grabbed my arm.
"Don't forget our deal." He whispered in my ear.
I was about to turn and push him away when he pulled me closer and kissed me on the cheek.
"I'll call you." He spanked my ass, pushing me forward a little.
I turned around in shock. He just sat there on his desk, smiling at me as he sipped his wine. I rolled my eyes and walked out.
***********
As I stepped out of the motel, a long black limousine was parked in front.
Who could it be?
Then I realized.
"Oh. It's him. What an attention seeker." I said to myself.
I stood there pretending not to see it. Until he stepped out.
In anger, he walked up to me.
"And what the hell are you doing here?" Vinco grabbed my arm.
I didn't say anything. Didn't look his way. Still pretending like it was nothing.
He grabbed my arm tighter, pulling me closer.
"I said... what are you doing here?" Anger in his voice.
I wanted to keep pretending, but the pain from his grip triggered me.
"Ah... you're hurting me. Let go." I tried removing his fingers from my arm.
"Do you have any idea what this place is? And who told you about this place?" His voice rising. "Was it Sybil? Huh? Tell me!"
"One more word about Sybil, and you'll regret the day you knew me." Annoyed.
We stood there staring at each other, heated tension between us. Heavy wind started blowing–like it was about to rain.
"Left you alone for two minutes, and you've already caused chaos." He dragged me toward the car.
"Chaos? Haven't even started yet." My voice faded as he pulled me.
We got in the car. For some reason, his men weren't there with him like usual.
Was Fernando right? Am I really his weakness? I thought. But I couldn't care less.
I turned my head to the other side, facing the window, looking out through the tinted glass. The silence was heavy, but for some reason, I could feel someone staring at me. You know that feeling when you think you're being watched? Yeah–that's what I felt. But because of my pride, I couldn't turn around.
It was a very silent drive.
***********
We finally reached the mansion. Didn't even wait for him to park properly–I stormed out.
"Head to my room immediately!" He yelled. His voice was loud enough for me to hear as I walked away.
I got upstairs to his room–not because he told me to, but because that was the last place Sybil was before I left.
I searched the entire room. His studio. Bathroom. Closet. Under the bed. Under his desk.
Nothing. She wasn't there.
Soon Vinco walked in.
"Can you just breathe?" He removed his tie and flunged it across the room.
"Where's Sybil?" I frowned, walking up to him.
No reply.
"Didn't you hear me? I said where's Sybil? Where is she?" I yelled again.
"You need a chill pill. And plus, no one raises their voice at me." He unbuttoned his shirt.
"You think this is a joke? Where is she?" I saw a gun on his desk, picked it up, and pointed it at him.
"Woah... calm your ass down." He took off his shirt, revealing visible marks and scars on his body.
"Sybil's already been shipped. She's currently on a boat heading to Vietnam." He walked closer. "You going to my brother changes nothing. I do what I want and get what I want. Sorry, my love."
"You did what?" Tears rolled down my eyes. "How could you? I can't believe you actually... I hate you, Vinco. I hate you."
"Aww... no one's ever said that to me before." He grabbed my neck. "So what? Does that make me Satan?" He smirked, hand still on my neck.
"Calling you Satan is an insult to Satan." I removed his hand from my neck.
"You know what? f**k it." I stepped back, raised my gown up to my waist, took my panties off, and sat on his desk with my legs wide open, revealing my coochie.
"f**k me." Bitchy face.
"You said you get whatever you want, right? Then go ahead. f**k me."
I took the gun I'd been holding and slid it into my v****a, thrusting it in. Watery sounds escaped as I moaned.
"What the hell are you waiting for?" I moaned, staring at him with a slothy face.
He walked up to me slowly, grabbing my legs.
"Shit... what the hell are you doing to me?" Vinco muttered under his breath.
