Amara's eyes were wide as she opened the door for me. I think I registered relief in her fake hazel eyes as we silently stared at each other. I have no idea what to say to her.  "Is everything alright?" She asked. I was surprised that even after ignoring her like that last night, she wasn't pissed at me. I slowly nodded my head.  "I need you to get ready," I answered silently, heading inside. "We are going out tonight," She followed after me as I scrambled into her walk-in and ideally started to look for what she could wear. I cannot breathe with the unspeakable pain that was burning my insides.  "Where?" She asked, watching me as I pulled out a short red dress with thin straps.  I couldn't even turn and face her. I cannot look into her eyes knowing what I was about to do with her. But
