Chapter 26- Strong Kaya

Kaya's POV:-

After sobbing I washed my face and go back to ICU and carefully saw Teja and see that bandages wrapped around her whole body like legs, hands, abdomen, head. Some blood spots showing on them because of her act.

I felt like someone is ripping my soul.

Then Senior doctor comes to her room and checked her vitals. 

After checking her he turned to me and asked "Mam, can I talk to you for a minute?"

I nodded and came out to her room with them.

"Mam, I really didn't understand how did she awake when she was not responding to our medicines we given her. But because she stood and tried to attack other people it made her wound open. I saw how she responded to you which means you are her closest person. You need to be with her all the time. Mam, I know you understand me so what I am going to say will be very difficult for you to hear." He explained and my heart stopped for a second.

"What do you mean sir? Is something wrong with Teja?" I asked.

"Mam, those glasses which embedded on her back were too deep and because of this, her muscles are not able to reflex now. It took some time for her to recover and maybe in the future she wasn't able to walk. We need to admit her for 1 month. If she recovers quickly then it will be good. But what happened to her caused her depression and she didn't have hope to live her life. Like I told you it's really a miracle that she was able to stand on her feet but if she tried to did this act again. I think then she will never be able to walk. We can't tell her this so  I am telling you this too please don't tell her. This truth made her life hell. We'll tell her if she didn't stand on her feet again after 1 month and if she will become mentally stable." He explained.

And this truth is soo difficult to accept. "I will make her stand on her feet again beta. It's a promise." I promised myself with determination. I will not make my daughter's life in hell.

"Mam, are you alright?" He asked.

"Yes, sir don't worry please give her the best medicines which recover her. I will work on her mental health. " I replied.

"So, you didn't take her to the psychiatrist. It will become very difficult to you and her." He said.

"Don't worry sir, I knew how to help her please believe me," I said and he left.

When he left and two police officers come towards me and said "Are you, Mrs. Kaya?" One of the police officers said. He looks like he is ACP.

"Yes, what do you want from me? " I asked.

"Mam, you need to come with us to the local branch police station. We need to talk to you regarding Teja's case." He said.

"Okay," I replied and left with him. We reached the local branch police station in 10 minutes.

We enter and he took me to their investigation room. When we reached I saw there has one more policeman. He turns towards me and I am shocked.

" Kaya??? Tum???? (You???)" He said.

"Jeth Ji ( Older brother-in-law)" I said.

"Is that mean that girl is my niece." He asked and I nodded with teary eyes.

"Goddammit, those bastards I'll kill them." He yelled and was about to leave when I said "No, Jeth Ji. Can we talk about it first? " 

He turned to me and with a sigh, he nodded and sat on the chair.

I sat in front of him. 

" Kaya, I know it's a very critical situation to you but do you want to case them? They had already accepted their crime. " He asked.

" Yes sir, I want because they tainted my sweet Teja with their horrible and I want them to rot in this jail forever," I replied.

" Okay then." He said and when he gave me the file to sign. I signed.

"Sir, I have a request to you, "I said.

"What is it? " He asked.

"I want to torture them because you did it also then I beat them some more. I didn't think it made a cause. Please it a request." I replied.

"Of course Kaya, I knew you want it and I'll support you fully. Arjun takes her to their cell with 2 officers for her safety. " He ordered.

"Sir, I will protect her myself. This is the first time someone asked this type of request. How can I miss this scene?" Arjun said and took me to their cell.

He gave me their sticks and smiled.

He opened the locker and saw there was 5 male sat on the chair and their hands wrapped with rope on the sides of the chair. This view made me smile because they have beaten them already.

"Who are you?" One of them asked.

"Your nightmare," I replied and started to beat them with the stick.

"How can you do this to a 10-year-old girl? "

"She was a flower that didn't grow fully. And you did this to her."

"How dare you touch her hair? You made her whole life hell. Because of you maybe she never can run around me."

"She never smiles towards me and giggling."

"She never hugged me with happiness."

"It all because of you you killed her soul and her body."

"She started hating males."

"She will never believe them and never in love," I yelled them while beating them. I was feeling good when they were begged me to leave them.

After an hour, I stopped when I was tired and left their room.

I reached their investigation room again and ACP Arjun gave me water when I sat on the chair.

"Where is the SHO sir?" I asked.

"Mam, they went to their important meeting and maybe come back tomorrow." He said.

"Okay," I replied.

" Mam, do you call your husband?" He asked.

"Yes, sure sir," I replied and call Nirbhik. He said he will come in 3 hours and I cut the call.

"Sir, he will come in 3 hours. " I said.

"Then, can we start with the investigation ?" He asked and I nodded.

I told him everything I knew and what I did during that time but whenever I asked them about what happened to Teja when they reached. He always diverted the call.

After 2 hours of frustration, I asked "Why are avoiding my question?"

"Mam, we talked to the doctor and he said you are her only support. I don't want to tear her only support. So please don't ask me. You'll hurt only." He replied and I sighed.

"Maybe he is right. I don't want to weak now." I thought.

Then I got a call from the school.

"Hello mam, Teja didn't come to school?" She asked.

"Mam, an accident happened to her. I'll give you her medical reports.  She may be not able to come to school in one month." I replied.

"What happened to her? is she alright?" She asked.

"No mam, she is not okay. But when is okay. She'll be back to school. Mam, I am busy right now. You can talk to me later." I said and cut the call.

Then I got a call from the hospital and they said I have to reach there soon because Teja awoke and she is again trying to stand up and getting out of control.

I said to sir and left for the hospital.

Nirbhik POV:-

After I got a call from Kaya I came to police station and saw ACP Arjun is waiting for me. I entered and he said, "Sir, you need to sign these papers and tell me what you knew?" He said.

"Can I saw those criminals first?" I asked.

"Sure." He replied and took me to their cell.

ACP Arjun POV:-

When I was talking to the cell. I have a feeling that he doesn't him but do something else but I let my thought out of my head and open the cell.

He sat on the vacant chair. And what he said next shocked the hell out of me.
