Chapter-12 Saving a man

Akaash POV:-

When I came to India. I thought that it's not going to be so much fun. But when I first come to school and saw Teja I fell in love with her by her innocent look. What a sweet, innocent, cute girl she is? She is like an angel who made everyone's heart melt. I am very happy that I spent all classes with her. We can talk about our studies and we made a friendship with each other. Now I have a good friend. I am so happy. Maybe when I had a chance I told her about my feelings but it's not the right time. She is very hardworking too.

I felt so bad when Tanish talked badly to her. I want to protect her at any cost. That's why I warned him. Then I come to see her is she is okay. I come to class. I ask about her to everyone in our class. I friendship all of them. I found almost 90% of boys in our class like her even whole school knew about her and boys like her but didn't have the courage to tell her. Everyone feared her mother. Her mother is a social worker and she has an angry face all the time except she smiles when she saw Teja.

" Where are you Teja? " I am in the corridor and tried to found her but no one saw her. Then I ring the bell and everyone started to go back to their classes.

In 2 minutes I saw her. " Teja are you okay? " I asked.

" I'm fine what could have happened to me." She replied with a smile.

Before I said something she said, " Let's go to class because we have to go to the physics lab now."

Then we come to class and took our thing like practical copies of physics and chemistry, lab coat, gloves, mask, and lab goggles. 

" Okay everyone, please be online, and quietly we go to the physics lab. Let's go," she said. and we made a line and go to the lab.

When we going to the lab a girl Anjali said to her other friend Srishti " Yaar (dude/friend), Teja didn't come to eat lunch in recess. "

" I don't care about her. If she wants she can go to hell teacher's adored girl. My foot I hate her so much for her fakeness." Srishti said.

" How can she think about her like this? " I thought and balled my fists but I'm worried about her. She didn't eat lunch today.

Our classes went normal today and Tanish didn't hurt Teja. He always sat beside Teja. I didn't like it. Thank god at least in biology class I sat beside her. She opened up to me. But she didn't like much to talk.

Teja POV:-

When I left them. I came to the club room because I knew this time no one comes to the room. I come and started to cry. I remember when mam asked me How I hurt. Yesterday's incident comes in front of my eyes but I controlled myself then Tanish didn't acknowledge my efforts. I felt a Needle pierced my heart. I felt bad whenever anyone does not acknowledge my efforts. I felt bad because of yesterday and Tanish's rude behavior.

When my tears dried I wash my face in the washroom and come to class. When I heard bell rand. I come immediately to class. Then we all went to the lab. Then all day went normal Tanish tried to said something to me. But I ignored him.

When school was over I come to my home.

" Teju, you came. How was school dear? Did something happen to school? Why are your face look so sad? " Mom came and starting to ask questions. Only this woman understands me a lot. I felt lucky.

" Mom I am alright. nothing happened today is chemistry test, lab, and physical education class so I am tired nothing else." I said while sitting on the sofa.

" Okay, then you go to your room, change your dress and freshen up. then we eat together. " Mom said.

" I am going. I'll be back in 10 minutes. " I said and come to my room.

I went to the wardrobe and change my dress. I wore a full-sleeved red top and dark blue jeans and a multicolored scarf. Then wash my face, hands, and feet.

I come to the dining area and see that om made my favorite dal chawal and kheer. (Dal chawal is pulses and rice and kheer is an Indian dish made of a mixture of rice, dry fruits, and milk.).

I ate my lunch and went to my room to complete my homework. When I completed it I saw the time. It's 3:30 pm. It's time to go to my chemistry and biology lecture. ThenI remembers mam said I have to submit my fees. I went to my wardrobe and took my savings and count it. it's 5000 rupees. I put money in my wallet and I put my wallet in my backpack.

I went to mom room and asked " Mom, it's me. Can I come in? "

" Yes, Teju." Mom replied. and I come to mom room.

" Mom, ma said I have to submit money but papa didn't give it to me. So I took my savings with me. It's 5000 " I said.

" I know dear it's difficult for you to be careful with your route." Mom said and I left to room.

I am going towards the tuition and cross the road when I saw an accident happened. A car collided with a stopped car and then run from them.

I run towards the car and saw a man whose blood oozing out from their head and few injuries from his body. I tore my scarf and wrapped it around his head. then I called for auto and one auto stopped.

" Please help me to save him. He is hurt." I said.

" Okay dear, I'll help you. You must love your father a lot." He said and helped me from taking him hospital.

I saw he was not breathing. I put my head on my chest. I think it's pneumothorax because blood is in his lungs.

" Please speed up. " I said worried about him.

" We just reach the hospital. " He replied.

We reached the hospital and soon nurses come with a stretcher and took him inside.

" doctor!! Doctor!! " I called for the doctor and a male doctor came.

" Doctor saves him please. he shows symptoms of pneumothorax. Help him please." I said.

" Okay, I am seeing him." Doctor said.

The doctor took out extra blood from his lungs. He started to breathe. I sighed in relief.

" We need to operate him as soon as possible. But it's a hit-and-run case. We have to wait for the police." He said.

" How do you know about pneumothorax? " He asked.

" I am a medical student," I replied.

" Please operate him. And there is new rule police investigate later it is in an emergency state and doctor operate him. If you forgot about this rule." I said.

" Okay, I operate him. You have to submit advance in the reception area." He said.

" Okay. " I replied and went towards reception and took wallet and phone from him and open the phone from his fingerprint.

Then I saw rikshaw uncle. " Thank You uncle you help us. One minute I give you your money." I said and took out my wallet.

" There is no need for money. I hope your dad gets well soon." He said and left.

I called his assistant when I just call his wife. I give him all information about him. I cut the call. I fill the form with the help of his ID. His name is Raj Kashyap. 

I used his card for payment but his card didn't have money. So I have to pay with my money. Then I came towards OT.

In 2 hours, his operation got completed, and shifts him into ICU. Soon 2 Police officers come to me.

" Are you Mr. Kashyap's daughter? " A police officer asked he is about 6 ft with brown eyes.

" No, I'm not his daughter. I lied to them for his treatment. I saw the accident. " I replied.

" You mean you are eye witness. " another one asked.

" Yes, but can you please not give any information about me. Even I don't want to my parents about this incident. " I said.

" Okay, but you have to tell us about everything. " 1st one replied.

I told them everything about that incident. 

" Thank you for saving him. You are a good girl. " He said and left to search for a doctor.

I came inside and put my wallet on the table and sat beside him. He looks in his almost 40s.

I waited for his assistant to come but he opened his eyes.

" Who are you? " He asked.

Before I replied mom called me.

I replied to her that I am coming in 30 minutes and leave in hurry. " I am sorry. I have to go." I replied and left.
