Caught Up

Phedora "Phedora!" Someone shouts my name as well as hitting me in the face with something irresistibly soft like a pillow or a cushion. My eyes squeeze before they rapidly flutter, squinting at the person before I recognize the person as Blake's nosy ass of a sister, Charlotte wearing an irritated expression on her face, which is unnecessary for her to put on this mask of a feigning opposite feeling. "What?!" I yell the question, annoyed. "Get your lazy butt off the bed and make breakfast for my niece and nephew because today is their first day of school!" Charlotte commands and I could imagine her eyes rolling in her voice. "Nooo..." I whine and pull the covers by the hem over my body while my legs furiously kick. I then pull my head up to pick up the pillow and placing it over my head in addition to closing my eyes as I meet the darkness setting from the pillow. "PHEDORA!" Sucking my teeth and huffing, my hand grasps onto the end of the pillow and I throw it at the corner of the room. I then sit up to take a gander at the clock that reads 6:35 in the f*****g morning! All of Blake's family members are waking me up at 6:35 in the morning just to have the kids ready for school?! I don't have time for this! One more hour and then, I would be good to go. Throwing my legs over the edge of the bed, I fix the hem of my negligee before walking to the door with my hand gripping onto the knob as well as departing the bedroom to the living room to see my two children all gussied up in their clothes. Seeing my two angels getting ready for their first day of school, causing me the corners of my mouth lifting as it forms a grin while I survey on their casual habiliments before averting my eyes to Kelly's accustomed backpack that is purchased at a low price of nine dollars. Hell, I could purchase a much better backpack for her when I receive my final paycheck from working at the Estee Lauder store in Patchogue. "Ohh, look at my two angels," I gush and clap my hands together before I begin to sense something tugging at the corners of my mouth as a smile dance on my lips as I gaze at them sprouting like a plant. Kelly and Theodore peer up at me with the expression of ecstatic plastering on their faces. "Good morning, Mommy!" The two of them harmonize and I look up to meet the aversion on my in-laws' faces. "Uh, Phedora? What kind of outfit is that?" Charlotte scoffs as she folds her arms in front of her chest and shakes her head pejoratively. "What," I question, looking down at the negligee. "This is what I woke up in!" I gesture with my hands at my outfit. "Phedora, you really need to put on some family-friendly because what you're wearing is not so polite." Lauren shakes her head along with the waving of her fingers. I then turn to my other sister in law, Gracie nodding her head while she's doing this weird communication with her hands as well as her fingers. Now, that to me is a strange girl. "Fine," I suck my teeth and roll my head in circles, turning to return the bedroom before I briefly remember to turn around to face them. "And tell that deaf mute to stop making movements with her hands. She can talk though, right?" I turn to return to the bedroom as I hear most of my overbearing in-laws jumping down my throat as I proceed to the bedroom. "Gracie is not deaf mute! She can communicate and you're disrespecting a person, who is unable to hear and here you are, deriding her while we're having the kids getting ready for their first day of school!" Sienna rebukes. "Whatever!" I dismiss with a singing tone, flipping them off as well as slamming the door behind me and examining the closet on what I should wear for the day. I decide to wear a camisole, a mini denim skirt and a pair of black leggings. Midway through getting dressed, I overhear a conversation between Blake and Charlotte that really nettles me. "Blake, I don't understand why you married her! Pretty much; nobody knows why you married such an ill-mannered floozy!" Swiftly opening the door, I meet the gazes of Charlotte and Blake. "Because he loves my Notorious V.A.G. That's why! Don't be jealous that you can't get some in your personal life!" With that, I slam the door, yet the door hits Blake's arm. He opens the door and calmly closes it shut. "The Notorious V.A.G.?! You're naming your hoo-ha after Notorious B.I.G.?!" Charlotte skeptically questions with her voice muffling behind the door. He and I struck our gaze at one another with him clenching his jaw while I fold my arms in front of my chest as well as glaring at him. His blue eyes give me a frosty look as he holds his stance with both his hands resting on each side of his hips. "Phedora, do you have a reason why you denigrate Gracie and disrespect my family members after the past four days we copulated? You know how that offends not only my family, but Gracie as well. Because Gracie is the same human with the exact emotions just like me and you and she even has a voice while she interacts with her hands." Blake justifies. "Whatever, Blake," I give him a dismissive wave with my hand. He then releases a sigh of exasperation before he releases a relaxing exhale. "Listen, both my Mom and Aunt Lauren want you to go to C-Town to pick up some groceries for the house, since my siblings and your siblings in law do live here." Blake assures. Kissing my teeth and rolling my eyes at him annoyingly, I argue, "I bought the groceries because you and I have our own family! Your brother and sisters are grown up themselves! They can buy groceries for your mother with their own money." "Dammit, Phedora!" He growls through clenching teeth and almost immediately, I hear a fist making contact with the wall, in which I flinch a little. He then faces me with this intense irritation in his eyes along with his face reddening like a tomato. He eyes roam from my face to my wardrobe and he takes a few steps closer to me, standing across from me. His hands make their way to the neckline of my camisole and ultimately, his powerful hands rip the cotton material between my shirt just as my bare breasts are flashing behold in front of him. "Blake," I shout, "You ripped one of my favorite shirt and this tank top was just forty six dollars!" "I don't give a f**k. As long as you're my wife, you don't wear something that has all the other men being enthralled by your poor dress code. Just wear one of my shirts until I buy you a new one." Blake nonchalantly advocates. I roll my eyes along with huffing as I make my way to the closet to yank the long sleeve of my favorite shirt Blake wears from the hanger as well as being arrayed in a pair of leggings, a mini denim skirt, and Blake's dress shirt when Blake lets out this harrumph that sounds to me that he needs his throat to be relieved with some medicine. "What?" I scowl and suck my teeth, turning to him. "Aren't you going to the supermarket with a bra on, right? Because I would be condemned if you do. You're either going to wear a bra or you don't get any tonight and you will receive another punishment from me next morning." As much as I want to oppose, a sudden trickling feeling in the center of my bottom undergarment changes my mind immediately. Around the same time, air hits me on my arm just as the presence of Blake stands beside me along with a hand traveling from the start of my back to my ass before his hand firmly grips onto one of the cheeks of my assets along with giving it a hard spank. I yelp and rub my buttock in circles while a coy smile tugs at my lips. Blake then leans toward my ear and whispers, "That's my girl." He chuckles resonantly to my ear that is impossible to forget. I smile at his words and he hands me the paper of groceries that includes some of the foods and household items encircled in red and blue. I accept the paper as well as gathering my phone, my cross-body purse, and keys. "I'll see you and the kids when I get off work, okay?" Blake promises. "I love you." I mumble to sound like I say the three words with eight letters to him. Just as I'm about to leave the bedroom, a hand grasps onto mine. I turn around to face Blake around the same time he hums, "Baby?" "I love you, too." I roll my eyes as Blake leans forward to me, gently placing his lips against mine and our lips smack. I leave the bedroom and enter the hallway as I am being greeted with glares as well as tight-lipped frowns and the shaking of my in-laws' heads. Whatever, I dismiss them with my eyes rolling at the door as I exit the apartment. And I could've swear in a distance that I hear one of them say, "Finally," but I must go to the store to get what they want to get them off my back. Pulling the handle of the door to open after unlocking the doors as I enter the car and put my phone and purse on the passenger seat beside me, so I can put the key into the ignition to start the car. I then switch the radio station from Hot 97 to 106.1 BLI just as "Look What You Made Me Do" by Taylor Swift comes on the radio. I sing along the lyrics of the song and depart the apartment complex. Just before I go to the supermarket, first thing is first. Instead of going there, I merge onto Patchogue-Mount Sinai Rd before making four rights along the trip to purchase some of the items that are on sale. Parking my silver 2015 Lexus GS on the parking lot that is across from Ulta, I remove the key from the ignition just as the music ceases playing and reach for my purse and phone as well as the keys are secured in my hand after I eject myself out of the vehicle. Right after I shut the car door in addition to putting the doors on lock, my eyes swift from one direction to the other before I proceed walking to the store where I meet eye to eye with a sign of times that the store opens and closes. It opens in the next four hours, I thought with an indignant tone while I grit my teeth and walk back to my car to go to the primary trip in the first place. Minutes later, I enter the grocery with a shopping cart and use the paper of groceries that are circled. Letting the sigh of irritation as well as huffing and rolling my eyes, I make my way to the cereal aisle to get boxes of Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and... ugh! Golden Grahams! To be honest, I feel that the Golden Grahams cereal is the bland replica of Cinnamon Toast Crunch without the dashes of sugar and cinnamon. Setting the three cereal boxes into the shopping cart, I move on to pick up some frozen food in the frozen area. Peering at the freezers filled with frozen foods in boxes, I pick up some food for the kids as well as mostly everybody in the house. Just as I have the frozen food that are sealed in boxes, the other cart collides into mine as it cause me to take a glimpse at the debonair himself. "Hey, sweet thing." He smiles and flashes his million dollar ivories. "Hey," I greet around the same time I feel the corners of my mouth lifting and revealing my teeth to him. "I know a facile way for you to earn most of the king's ransom. Are you in or are you out?"I briefly ponder about my in-laws nagging about me finding a job, but what this job that they don't know, won't hurt them. Blake Right after taking Kelly and Theodore to the bus stop, I get in my Chevrolet Silverado and begin driving from the apartment complex to going on to N Ocean Ave and W Woodside Ave to E Patchogue Yaphank Rd prior to turning as well as parking the vehicle on the parking lot in front of the gym. I reach for my phone that is resting in one of the empty cup holders and turn the volume down. I then shut the radio off after removing the key from the ignition as well as unlocking all of the doors while my phone is still in my hand. With two items in my hand, I open the door and close it shut before putting all doors on lock and looking both ways to see if there are upcoming cars that are passing by. With one car passing me by, I either wait for their gestures or them to go. However; the driver signals for me to walk across as well as entering the gym where the intense robust breeze of the air conditioner greeting me to see almost a packed gym and the music blaring in the background. Shifting my eyes at people on the treadmills and elliptical with beads of sweat trickling down their faces. In the corner of my eye, I notice a burly man that is no more than six feet walking to my direction. His mouth expands into a wide grin on his face and laughs loudly before he gives me a firm, welcoming handshake. "Good morning and you must be Blake! Do you remember me?" He asks me and I already remember his English accent days ago. "Yes," I smile seemingly, "I remember you, Sir. You're Mr. Burns." I recall. "You're correct, lad! Come on, son. Your co-workers are in the locker room, waiting to meet and greet with their new employee!" Mr. Burns uses his fist to gently make contact with my arm as we go to the locker room. Once Mr. Burns open the door, the chattering of the employees cease and I stand beside Mr. Burns with my fingers interlocking behind me. "Okay, ladies and gentlemen. I have some news to share you today. We have a new employee named Blake and he will be working with us. So, please be cordial and treat him like family." Mr. Burns addresses. I take a glance at eighteen of my co-workers from left to right before my eyes struck at the well-known face while her eyes widen at me with her mouth dropped ajar. I wonder what she's thinking in her mind.
