Valerie I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being watched. After waking in the middle of the night before, I returned into the cabin with the fear that I wasn’t alone. I scrambled to place one of the kitchen chairs under the door knob in hopes it would keep whatever it was out. The sun rising brought on an enormous amount of relief. I had stayed up the remaining of the night contemplating my next move. I needed to get back home. If there was something outside the cabin last night, what if it comes back? The fear of wandering into the forest and not knowing where I was going was also weighing heavily on me. At least here I had the protection of the cabin.
