It had been a few hours since I woke and Desmond and I had yet to talk. He tried, but I needed to gather myself first. I was starving and felt drained. I couldn’t get my thoughts together enough to voice them. On top of having to face the situation with him, I now needed to make sense of what happened in my conscience. Did I imagine the wolf? Where did it come from? How did it appear? I decided it was best to handle one problem at a time, the most important and first in line was nervously watching me.
