We walked through the garage and out the side door where the snow lay thick before us. As we trekked behind the castle and towards the stables, I lifted my face up to the sky, soaking in the sunlight. It had been days since the sun had shown and the warmth was a welcomed gift. Chatting about the land, weather, and the horses that I had met the week before, we walked over the snowy hills before turning back towards the castle.
