It all happened so fast. One minute I was in heaven, the next I was cast to hell. My knees and palms ached from scraping across the concrete floor. The sheet, now with blood stains, did little to offer warmth in the cold dungeon he locked me in. I quit crying a few hours ago, not because the hurt was gone, but because I simply ran out of tears. My mind was blank as I hugged my knees and stared at the floor, barely blinking. I thought back to everything that had happened. I replayed every scene in slow motion time and time again.
