Baekhyun sets the table and as soon as he is done, Kyungsoo calls him into the kitchen. The elder pulls him into the corner and looks at him, biting his heart-shaped lips.

"I'm going tell Kai about me being...you know," Kyungsoo smiles and Baekhyun feels as if his face might rip from smiling too much.

"Well, I wish you luck," Baekhyun winks as he takes the tray with the big steak on it. The meat smells amazing and is sliced into small slices so it is easier to eat. Baekhyun sets the food onto the table and smiles proudly at his work. Finally, Kyungsoo brings the cake, setting it on the fancy crystal cake stand in the middle of the table.

"Wow, dinner looks amazing," Baekhyun turns around at the sound of Luhan's voice.

"Luhan! Where's Sehun?" Baekhyun tilts his head to the side cutely, making Luhan chuckle.

"He'll be down shortly, so will Kai and Chanyeol. They all were working on some plan," Luhan shrugs and Baekhyun stops smiling at Chanyeol's name.

"Well, anyway, let's eat," Kyungsoo says, noticing the younger's reaction and immediately, Baekhyun's face lightens up once more. Baekhyun sits down on a random chair and the three starts to eat. Once they finish, Luhan stands up to leave, but Baekhyun stops him.

"Hold on, you still haven't eaten dessert," Baekhyun says, picking up a knife to cut the cake. Just as Baekhyun was about to slice the cake, the door opens and Sehun, Chanyeol and a tanned male enter.

"Who're you and why do you smell like a f*****g wolf?! Are you trying to kill us, b***h?! I don't know what we did to get killed by a b***h like you, so please, entertain us and tell," the tanned male shouts, glaring at Baekhyun, who's smile immediately drops from his face and tears well up in his eyes. Luhan wraps his arms around Baekhyun, pulling him away from the dining area.

"Lu, what did I do wrong? I was just going to cut the cake that I decorated for you guys, but no one appreciates my work," Baekhyun cries and starts to breakdown. He hadn't had a meltdown in quite a while, so now, he starts to hyperventilate.

Luhan starts to panic, seeing Baekhyun lose all colour in his face.

"Baekhyun?" he calls at first just thinking Baekhyun was tired, but once Luhan hears Baekhyun's breathing get rapid and laboured, he looks around, calling his name.

"Baek?! Baekhyun! Sehunnie! Chanyeol!" Luhan calls out frantically, sobbing as he sees Baekhyun's eyes drooping and his breathing getting dangerously fast. He was always a sensitive person that couldn't bear to see others hurting, and to see Baekhyun suffering so greatly, he just couldn't watch.

Sehun immediately rushes to Luhan, asking him if he's fine and Luhan just points at Baekhyun, who is now, sickeningly pale and is on the verge of unconsciousness. Sehun leaves Luhan's side and rushes to Baekhyun, catching his head just before he could hit it on the floor.

Sehun immediately lifts Baekhyun, rushing him to the car, with Luhan following close behind. The pale blond male drives wildly to the hospital, where Baekhyun is admitted to the emergency room. Luhan grabs Sehun's hand, burying his face in the taller's chest.

"Sehunnie! He looked so fragile! He was dying! You should have seen him! He was already malnourished and to see him hyperventilating so badly...." Luhan sobs into the taller. It was ironic how much Luhan and Sehun cared for Baekhyun, even though they had basically only known him for a day.

Luhan continues to cry until he gradually falls asleep. Sehun grits his teeth. He was mad. No, f**k that, he was fuming. This whole dilemma was caused by Kai and his bad mood. He had caused Baekhyun to almost die and Luhan to cry.

The door to the hallways open and immediately, Chanyeol rushes in, panting and tired looking. He had just run to the hospital, after beating Kai up. The younger had had a bad day, but that was no way to take out his anger. He couldn't just go all out on his mate.

The older spots Sehun on the waiting chairs with Luhan on his lap. He sigh in relief.

"Where's Baek? Is he ok? What did the doctors say?" Chanyeol bombs Sehun with questions and Sehun shakes his head.

"Hyung, calm down. The doctor isn't out y—" Sehun is cut off by the doctor's voice.

"Are you here for Byun Baekhyun?" the doctor calls and Sehun and Chanyeol turn to the voice. The two males nod, simultaneously.

"What is your relation with him?" the doctor asks.

"He's my mate and he's my brother's friend as well as his mate's," Chanyeol replies hurriedly. The doctor quickly jots it down and nods.

"Well, Mr.Byun—"

"Park," Chanyeol corrects. The doctor clears his throat and nods.

"Umm, yes. Mr. Park is doing fine. He is in stable condition. He was brought here exactly on time. If he was brought here any later, his chances of survival wouldn't be as high. Anyways, it seemed that Baekhyun was suffering from a serious panic attack. I don't know what had caused it, but when he awoke a little earlier for the medical tests, he seemed very frightened. It may be triggered by trauma. I advise you to care for him more properly and keep him away from the thing that frightens him if you can find out what it is," The doctor says.

"If you want to see him, he is in room 341 in the 3rd ward," the doctor says before bowing and leaving. Without hesitation, Chanyeol rushes to the said room and pushes open the door to the room. He sees Baekhyun on the bed. His head turns around when he hears the door open and as soon as he sees Chanyeol, he holds out his arms, like a little kid wanting to be picked up.

Chanyeol rushes to him and holds his hands.

"C-Channie," Baekhyun whimpers and Chanyeol smiles a little.

"Yes, baby?" Chanyeol answers. Baekhyun sighs and closes his eyes.

"Don't leave me,"

Chanyeol can feel his heart-shattering. The younger was scared of being left behind by Chanyeol, and it made Chanyeol guilty. He had left Baekhyun alone in the afternoon, that's why Baekhyun was sad and mad at him.

The older leans down and gently kisses the younger's forehead.

"Never in my entire life. I swear. I will never leave you,"

When Luhan wakes up, he sees Sehun staring into a room.

"Sehunnie? Where's Baek? Can I see him?" Luhan asks frantically. Sehun shakes his head.

"No, let the couple have their time," Sehun says as he helps Luhan stand up and walk to the car so that they can go home.

The new couple definitely need their time. Sehun thinks as he walks away.
