The wind is cool on Baekhyun's heated skin. He pants in pain at the sharp feeling that the usually nice wind brings as it hits him. He licks his lips but finds his tongue just as parched. Another gust of wind has him whimpering in pain.

Oh, how he really hated his heats.

They were never easy to handle for the unusually small and fragile 17-year-old. He was soon to be 18 and he still hadn't found his mate, which earned him a lot of hate from his fellow pack members. His breathing gets even more laboured and he tries to gulp in all the air he can, but it's no use. His throat constricts too fast and tears well up in his eyes.

He curls himself into a small ball under the big tree he had laid down under. He was stuck here for the next week or so. His throat stops constricting and finally allows him to breathe, which he does gladly, gulping in large amounts of air. He sighs as he lays his head down on the mossy root of the tree, curling up and wrapping his tail around himself to stay warm, because all of a sudden, the temperature dropped down incredibly, to him.

Just as he was about to finally fall asleep, he hears a twig snap. Immediately, he jolts up and looks around, warily. He again hears the rustling of the bushes near him and he slowly gets up, with a whimper and growls. He hears a deeper and more dominant sounding growl and immediately he backs down.

An Alpha.

It was never a good thing for unmated omegas to found by random Alphas while they were in the middle of their heat. If it was their mate, that was a different story. The omegas would feel their mate and call out them, instead of trying to push them away, and right now, Baekhyun definitely could not feel his mate. Usually, their mating senses would heighten during heats, making sure they found their real mates and not a fake Alpha.

Baekhyun whimpers at the pain in his stomach. He could not fight an Alpha. Especially in heat. He was forced to submit to an Alpha he possibly did not know and absolutely did not want to mate with. He was waiting for his mate to take him.

The Alpha steps out of the bushes and immediately Baekhyun cowers in fear and forced submission. The Alpha was a big wolf with pale golden fur and gray eyes. He was much, much larger than Baekhyun. The smaller, white wolf back up in fear, but whines lowly as his back touches the tree trunk.

The Alpha bares his teeth and growls menacingly, causing Baekhyun to whimper even more. The Alpha trots forward and sniffs Baekhyun. He pulls back with a glint in his eyes. He knew Baekhyun was unmated, so he leans forward again and is about to push his c**k into the omega's hole when a growl pierces the air. This growl is more authoritative and sounded more savage. The Alpha on top of Baekhyun immediately gets off and backs off with a whimper.

Baekhyun's nose immediately picks up a nice scent and his eyes widen. This scent. It smelt like pine trees after it rained. His chest suddenly clenches and he drops to the ground in pain. He was sure this wolf was his mate, but it was never said to be this painful to recognize one's mate.

The bushes rustle behind him and the scent amplifies, causing Baekhyun to wail in pain once again. Suddenly a hand touches Baekhyun's shoulder and the white wolf howls in pain. He had never felt something so painful. This couldn't be his mate, could it?

"Hey. Are you alright?" a voice asks and Baekhyun turns around to find a tall man with broad shoulders and pale blonde hair. The man looks down at Baekhyun and smiles a little.

"I know you're a werewolf...I can smell your human side. I need you to shift. I have to talk to you about something important," the man says, his face turning serious. Baekhyun pants in pain, but slowly stands up and whines in pain as his bones snap into place, for his human form. The werewolf looks up at the man and blinks his eyes to focus his blurry eyesight.

"I'm Oh Sehun. You are?" Sehun asks. Baekhyun looks at the taller male and gulps.

"B-Byun Baekhyun," Baekhyun whispers in an almost inaudible voice. Sehun nods.

"Listen. I'm a vampire." Sehun looks at Baekhyun, who has a panicked look on his face. He tries to turn around but is too weak to even take a step, so Sehun grabs his arm before he falls to the ground. He sighs. He knew this would happen.

"Stop. I'm not going to do anything. I know you are in heat and I think I help you." Sehun says and Baekhyun looks at him with curious eyes. He knew better than to trust a vampire, but he so desperately wanted to stop his heat. It was only the 3rd day and he already felt like dying.

"I know you smell your mate on me," Sehun says and Baekhyun looks up at him, surprised. Before he could ask Sehun how he knew, the taller starts speaking again.

"I know because of the way you acted when I first arrived."

Baekhyun looks at Sehun and he licks his lips to moisten it a little, even though his tongue is just as parched.

"B-but why do you smell like my m-mate?" Baekhyun asks and Sehun smiles.

"I know your mate, Baekhyun, but he's not a werewolf," Sehun says and Baekhyun's head snaps up.

"W-what?"

"He's a vampire. My half-brother. The prince of the pureblood vampires, Park Chanyeol. He's been going wild trying to find you. He smelt your scent a few days ago, probably when you were coming here. Ever since then, he can't stop looking for you. He can't leave the manor, so he sent, me and my other half-brothers to look for you. He knows you're his mate and he's willing to accept you, though you may bring trouble and chaos among us. He's waiting for you. Are you willing to come with me to see him?" Sehun asks, holding out a hand to the naked boy.

Baekhyun hesitates for a minute, but eventually nods and takes Sehun's outstretched hand.

"O-ok, take me to mate, please," Baekhyun whispers and Sehun smiles. He then takes his long coat off and wraps his around the smaller. Baekhyun immediately zips it up and snuggles it, since it smelled a lot like his mate and a little like Sehun. The coat comes just down to his knees, so he doesn't worry about covering his parts.

"Let's go," Sehun smiles and gently pulls Baekhyun towards the direction of the manor.
